Taking A step Back

I’ve been a Halo player since the age of six. Played all Halo games on their release dates, and spent countless hours with friends and family enjoying multiplayer. Roughly about a year and a half ago i started to become to busy to be able to play Halo or any game online really. My best friend and I who have been playing halo together since CE decided to play Reach campaign together for memory’s sake. It was fun, but I had a feeling a somber remorse, it was sad to see such a great game become a ghost. Only 20k roughly online in matchmaking, when not even a year ago it was close to 600k-1mil online. 343 did an amazing job on Halo 4 campaign, but to me the multiplayer isn’t what Halo used to be…call me old school but I miss the good old days of halo 2 and 3 online, Reach was great too, but Halo 4 pushed it for me as for kill cams, kill streaks, and making personal load outs.

To the past, friends, family, and amazing memories on a great franchise game. Halo will always be my favorite game.

Yeah the Reach population dropped when Halo4 was released, a lot of people assumed it would be better.

Then realized it wasn’t, and abandoned Halo altogether.

Sad really :frowning:

PS Oh well, 10 months until Destiny…

Here’s to hoping on H5?

After seeing how 343 handled H4 I’m done with any further Halo games. Their mis-direction in the story, dropping SpartanOps, their incompetence to sort out DLC for two games, and inability to be truthful and honest with their fan base (RE: Frank O’Conner telling everyone they didn’t copy COD w/H4) has convinced me that this series is going in the wrong direction now. It also doesn’t help that I have no interest in buying an XBox One.

I’ll stick to Halo Reach until Destiny comes out then it’s adios. Halo CE to Reach and everything released in between those titles will be missed.
