No I do not hate 343 or Halo 5. But The campaign was a HUGE let down and it broke my heart how disappointing it was for me. I thought Halo 5 would bring back the feeling and atmosphere of the original trilogy, and in some cases in the MP it has. But myself and I am sure alot of fans just wanted the feeling that the og halos had. I pains me to say it but I need to step back from Halo. I hope 343 can nail Halo 6 and give us all the feeling of the old Halos.
Well it’s sad matty… for me halo 5 was a lot better than halo 4… i really like the MP i play it every day → warzone or arena.
I can understand your feelings… but i started to give 343 a chance.
Man they didnt created halo
It’s hard for them to keep up with bungie and they starting getting better.
Take your brake of this war and come back in your Spartanarmor and help us against the evil universe
Sentinel CH over and out.
Halo 5’s campaign is my favorite campaign to date.
There was something magical about halo 3. That I haven’t felt since.
Halo 5 had a campaign that had a weak start, a strong middle, then a weak end. It was an interesting roller-coaster of killing Prometheans, and having fun.

Yup, only midnight launch I ever went to.
halo 5 gameplay for me was amazing the shooting just felt right and I don’t thing they need to touch the mechanics going forward but the story man the story was a mess. I wanted to love this game I wanted to really bad but I can’t so I too will be taking a break from halo just got to beat the game in co op with my girlfriend then i’ll stepping always cause I have no reason to revisit this world. I got my fingers cross halo 6 doesn’t make the same mistake if so it will be the last halo I buy…
Well Matty my boy. If you gotta go you gotta go.
Halo 5 is the best Halo I have played in ages.
I think overall it is a decent game and 343 has done and is still doing a decent job with halo.

I agree, it’s pretty good, one or two additions required, but still good.
I haven’t played Halo 5 as much as I was slightly underwhelmed also. Having said that I am planning on doing a second campaign run. I think I was so eager to get through the story on day one that I didn’t really take much of it in.
Same here, couldn’t even complete the campaign b/c it was so disappointing. But PvP was always my favorite part of Halo and it’s even a greater let down in Halo 5.
Started Halo 5 with 8 friends and they’ve all left with no plans to come back. They’re playing Fallout 4, Star Wars and BO3. Even the friends I added while playing Halo 5 are gone so I have no one on my Friends list playing. That’s never happened to me in all the years I’ve played Halo.
I’ve got 4 friends that started playing Star Wars and they keep inviting me to play because they’re having a blast. I’m going to rent the game this weekend and see how it goes. For me a lot of the enjoyment comes down to playing with friends and that’s not possible in Halo 5. No one even talks when you play this game. The good old days of Halo are long gone.

for me it was Halo CE… it was magical - then again, I was eager to explore new worlds … and conquer the weak=P

i know exactly what you mean …
yesterday, I was just happy to be at home and decided to go after these items on the first 2 mission
- Skulls
- Intel Missions
and today … is the achievements I can get off those 2 missions. Taking a break from Arena and WarZone

Halo Reach was my first midnight release. Stood in line and outside in the cold raid for 2+ hours but so worth it. Did a midnight release for Halo 5 and I was the only one at the store up until 15 minutes before the deadline when an off-duty employee showed up and let me inside. A buddy of mine picked up Star Wars at the same store and he said there were over 100 people waiting there.

Which just goes to show how many mugs there are willing to buy a game just because it says Star Wars on the box. Let be honest Star Wars is a game that lasts 5 minutes before you get bored of it as it isn’t really a game with that requires great skill as it has no depth to the gameplay. Plus the fact over half the game is missing unless you pay for the season pass which costs just as much as the game itself.

What, compared to all the mugs who bought Halo 5 hoping to recapture the experience they got from playing the earlier Halos? What I know is all of my friends have left Halo 5 and aren’t coming back. I’m not going to fault or force them to play a game they don’t enjoy.
As for Star Wars, I was in a party last night with several of my friends who were playing. They had played all day and they were having a blast. They were laughing, yelling, etc. while at the same time I’m in Halo 5 and you get crickets chirping b/c no one uses their mics anymore.
I agree campaign was a let down however I think the multiplayer rivals halo 3. I still have the original halo feels as the multiplayer has that arena gameplay in it.
The MP is fun but the campaign isn’t on Bungies level at all. The Promethians are not fun targets they’re just cheap and lame and feel like they need to be in another game. The lack of content on a flagship game is pathetic to.343 really needs to clean house and hire some people to do this franchise good.
