I am interested to know what other people think about this. The people who I’ve talked to so far have all shared similar opinions to me.
I think the CE Forge maps should be taken out of the Super Fiesta map rotation. The official maps are more fun for Super Fiesta IMO. Each map seems to have one dominant strategy or one area where there are always players (e.g. players on the bases or the arc on Battle Creek, one team holds the upper level of Rat Race while the other team pushes it from the ramps, etc.).
No negativity towards the creators of the maps. They are incredibly talented and the maps they produced are masterpieces.

No way those maps are great… Even rat race which I usually don’t do to well on. I wish they were incorporated into more playlist. FFA on battle Creek would be great.
I think all Forge maps should go from every playlist. An they should have a better rotation of the maps that were made for halo 5 and the dlc maps that came out.

I want to argue that Forge maps offer better variety compared to 343-made maps. While it’s true that playing on the same map over and over gets boring after a while, having some Forge maps mixed in with Fathom, Torque, Riptide, etc., keeps things fresh.

I can agree on that. But I have never gotten excited when pegasus or Orion have shown up an I loathe white cell. I think maps like molten and stasis are underappreciated. 343 maps in general need to show more often other then the typical eden, empire,plaza, rig, truth, and colesium. I guess I should retract my statement and say we need a better variety of map rotation. I think there are a total of 14 343 maps, an we only see about 6 of them.
Take away maps, no. Add more maps, yes. Some are not as much fun, but I just try different strategies.
Only CE maps I don’t really like are Battle Creek and Damnation. I’ve never liked BC since the CE days and Damnation is basically a campfest/fight for the one power position room and upper level area with a view of the bridge teleporter. It’s too hard to move around the map with all the weapons in play.
They are too busy with uneeded WZ changes to give is a refresh of maps…
The general response so far seems pretty divided. I think that if the community is split on this, the maps should stay. While I do prefer the official maps, the forge ones are still a blast.

I had completely forgotten about Pegasus, Orion, and White Cell. I’m only mildly bothered by playing Super Fiesta on CE maps, but playing something like Slayer on one of the three listed maps is no fun. Especially White Cell. Low level White Cell gameplay is awful. Teams seem to cluster together and it’s no fun running into all four enemies at once.
White Cell is also one of the most beautiful Forge maps I’ve seen. I love the aesthetic.
