This has happend to many yoinking times! Please 343, take it out for god’s sake! You practically don’t need head shots anymore, the rate of fire and 3 round burst makes the game frustrating when the majority of people play SWAT.
I use the DMR in SWAT. Low rate of fire, accurate. When all I see are n00bs with the battle rifle T bagging me because they think they are good. The battle rifle needs to be taken out of this gametype, as it is ruining SWAT.
The BR has been the face of swat since halo 2. If anything the DMR should be taken out not the BR
How about you remove yourself from SWAT instead.

DMR is good on Complex and other long areas. Haven, Abandon (75%), etc its BR only.
I managed to get a triple kill with one BR burst 
If people with BR’s are whooping you, switch to the BR instead of DMR.
Though to be honest your choice of weapon in SWAT should depend on the map itself.
Complex calls for the DMR due to better long range capabilities, BR for close/midrange maps (which is pretty much all the rest of them) and the pistol on the same maps as the BR.

Are you high, or trolling?
The ROF for the BR is slower than the DMR. That’s why it’s such a beast in normal slayer.

I won’t use the BR, in defense for my integrity, here’s my reason for its removal.
SWAT- Game type soley based on getting head shots, or pummels/melees. Used with prescion weapons like the DMR and beloved magnum.
The BR doesn’t require head shots, you can spray your enemies with tri shots. This isn’t SWAT. Halo 2 used it because the DMR hadn’t been added to the game, after 3 years of using the DMR. I’d expect people to prove to me they still know how to use it. Now do t go saying I hate the BR.
In my opinion, it’s gradually better than the DMR. That doesn’t make it the appropriate weapon for a SWAT match.

To the matter at hand, the BR had essentially MADE SWAT for Halo. Taking it out is just plain insanity. The addition of the DMR is to give you an option. If you don’t like one, pick the other. You don’t like neither? Then you’re out of luck
This is my first time hearing this. I personally do not see the problem. One has more range and the other is easier to use up close. They each one has a place in the gametype.
This is why there should be team objective, so you can pick the game mode. And same with swat, there should be Swat, swat magnums, and Evolved swat (DMRS)

As others before me have already stated, the BR is the FACE of SWAT and has been since Halo 2. And as said before, if any of the weapons should be removed from SWAT, its the DMR. Chances are if someone kills you with a BR while you are using a DMR, its not because they are a “n00b”, its simply because they are better than you. Drop the DMR and get a BR kid.
I think the DMR should be removed from SWAT.
In fact, I really don’t care which one gets removed - I just don’t like how there are two different options to choose from.

Isn’t the purpose to win? so therefore aren’t they doing what they are supposed to?
Also you do realize it’s like 3 shots to the back (not even head) to kill someone with a dmr right same as br (not bullet actually shots)?
If you really hate it then get better with your preferred weapon. I’ve seen plenty of people outdo others using the BR in Swat (and yes this is talking Haven and Abandon).
Hell if anything I wish they would put the carbine and light rifle in.
It’s all about the Magnum.
