I have been watching a stream for about 10 minutes now and have a giant headache from the “hit pings” noise. I would like it better if it is removed OR there was an option to turn the noise off. If the noise says in the game, it would be completely unplayable for me.
The announcer is kind of annoying now also. It shouts out every medal now and that gets kind of old.
What Stream you watching? I’m watching Joystiq.com and they can’t get a match made game to load. Just stuck in the lobby?

Agree with the medal announcer. They need to be special, not every little thing you do. You don’t need to tell me I’m a badass, I already know. (;

Completely agree, its driving me insane. I thought they got rid of it anyhow, GreenSkull had a video of it.
well they fixed it to where it only plays when you kill and not when you just hit someone

They did show that in a video but I am still hearing it.

Yea I think we’re playing an old version of the beta.
I agree. From the videos i have seen there is a wide variety of high pitched chirp/beep/hiss like noises which come from movement, grenades, shields, etc. Too high pitched and hurts my ears.
Jesus Christ they still did not take out the noise. I don’t think I can really play this today.
