Don’t limit us from joining our friends overseas. That’s right, we have friends in other parts of the world.
Ran into that issue myself with my friend this morning. Though I don’t think that it is a restriction that should be removed. The gameplay has been very smooth in multiplayer, and if we had that restriction removed, then we would be having the lag issues we have been so desperately wanting to be gone.
However, we are still able to play Custom games. They are not keeping us from playing with our friends over seas. Its just better that we keep the lag down when playing with multiple people on a ranked server. Last thing you want to have is a derank due to a loss from you or the other team having lag.
Please no matter what, don’t ever remove the latency restriction, it is a god send and it shall survive. So far it completly destroyed any halo before it.

I am in the western US and I have played warzone with friends from elsewhere in the US, central america, and europe at the same time, no problem, in fact we had a fireteam Saturday that was mostly UK based. I haven’t played with them, but I know they’ve played arena with the same international makeup with only an occasional disconnect. The only person that had a problem was actually in the US and it was apparently induced latency in his own home. It’s probably a much tighter margin to hit the latency cap, but it definitely isn’t just distance. Make sure everyone in your fireteam has checked their connection quality (and go wired if you can) and you may find it possible.
