Does anyone agree that KDA should be taken out of social playlist, I mean social is made for players who want to kick back and relax not for competitive or try hard or anything

WHat does it matter? Unless you play for KD/KDA it really shouldn’t matter if its there.
I think it should be on the after action report just for fun and to see how you did. But I don’t think social games should effect your overall average K/D for arena - just seems to defeat the purpose of it being social

It matters because some people care about their KD/KDA and want to play a social playlist every once in a while.
Yeah I agree I don’t care too too much abou k/d but too many times have I gotten steam rolled by the sauna in btb in instances like that I wish I didn’t negatively effect it so much
I think Social gametypes should be counted separately from the ranked Arena gametypes, similar to how it was done on Bungie.net’s Halo 3 service record. This way, people who just try to boost their kill death have no incentive to go into social and sweat it out like it’s Champion level Team Arena.
I agree it should be removed.

It won’t matter, the reason people are getting stomped in Social is because 343 has it setup so that social is the same rules as Arena, so people no longer need to play custom games to play ‘legit, competitive’ games. In H3/H2, the social playlists were SMG starts with radar, and MLG settings were BR start with no radar and a few other tweaks, so players who wanted competitive games not in MM played customs, leaving social to stay fun and chill.
Now, the competitive settings are basically the base gametypes (pistol/AR start, radar, etc.) so players who want that competitive experience and practice can just go into social and start trying hard. I haven’t seen many people playing customs, whereas back in the day it you’d find a ton of people playing MLG customs. This is the main reason.

Agreed. I don’t want to worry about my KD while playing social. Right now, everything falls under 2 Categories:
- Warzone
- Arena
It should be 3 categories: Warzone, Arena, & Social. Each playlist can have its own stats. Or if they don’t want to track it for social, all the better.
Pulling the KDA and other stats is half the battle. They need to pull the commendations too. Then you have a true social where newbies can practice learning the game.
