In Warzone/ Warzone Firefight, do you think that the Goblin (Grunt) Jockey should be nerfed-take some health away from it-or do you want it out of the game?
Cut down the range of it’s Shardstorm launcher (needle launcher on back) and I’ll be fine.
Really not hard to play around.
You can snipe at it from range with an ONI Hog or Scorpion,
or you can play around structures and walls up close with a Wraith.

It tracks too well, IMO.
Not that hard to deal with. Just annoying

Yeah, I wish it’s range and tracking were reduced. The most effective strategy I’ve found for dealing with the needles is to get a Ghost and try to stay a certain distance from the Goblin, where it won’t do its EMP attack or its melee, and the needles can’t turn sharply enough to hit you.
-5% health, -10% damage, slightly increased needle turn radius (less accurate.)
Right now, it eats up absurd amounts of time surrounded by Knights and other hellish spawn only to nuke every living UNSC structure within 70 meters. Its ridiculous when it is followed by more bosses.
The way bosses (or rather, enemies in general) work in this game ought to be overhauled. 343 makes them artificially difficult by overclocking their health and damage. AI opponents should be challenging because of their intelligence, their ability to adapt and react to player actions accordingly. Not because they’re just flat out overpowered and need 8+ players to equal their power. They should at least implement AI like this in Halo 6, and outsource the job to another company better at programming AI if they have to.
Just slightly decrease its range and a slight nerf to health and its good to go.
I’d say yeah nerf the health. I don’t think it needs to be removed from the game though I like it from a design standpoint.

Exactly this!!! it has way to much range especially to still track to you. no joking he killed me once before he even saw me on apex seven. I didn’t even get over the hill and here came some shards and killed me.

A Warthog is a viable option too, especially the Guass / Rocket Hogs. You can do so much damage from a very far distance, provide anti-air defense for the team, and run from enemy fire if necessary.
People don’t even go for the kill in Warzone anymore, they just let the points go to waste because it’s just not worth the time. It does need a health de-buff.
I don’t really think it’s OP. I have fun snapshooting it with SMGs.
The problem I have with WZFF is the stupid “protect the generators” and banshee raiders. First off, the Generators often spawn on the other side of the map on Raid on Apex 7, and are too easy to take out. Second, the banshees on the same map are way too OP and impossible to take out with level 2 reqs. Even level 3 ONI hogs get one shotted with a Plasma canon. Y’all better fix this 343.
I don’t think the grunt goblin is a huge problem. There are plenty of videos on youtube on how to get rid of it pretty quickly with the jewels of meridian among other things.

agree, its a waste of time to deal with
It’s a pain, sure, but I just accept it as it is I guess.
I either keep distance with longer ranged weapons (and near enough to cover when it fires those darned things) and aim for the sweet spots
-or-
If there are enough engaging it I try to provide some cover for the team from ground and air troops
Either way, its weapons are pretty awful to avoid but I take that as part of the game so to speak.

Creative Assembly is helping with Halo Wars 2. Look at their previous work of Alien: Isolation. For example, there are traps that you can set up for the alien, but if you use the same trap too much, it will learn how to counter the trap and use it against you. So pray that Creative Assembly stays for Halo 6 and Halo can finally have good drivers.

I’ll never forget the time I was playing Halo Reach with the Iron skull on, and Kat rammed me with the warthog.
