those players that get all mad when someone else picks up a power weapon. Some people respond to others good fortune by standing in front of said person for the betrayal so they can snatch the weapon after re-spawn or a betrayal kick . I’ve seen games where a player has followed his/her teammate around the map trying to screw over the person because they got to the power weapon faster. I would really appreciate it if people weren’t banned because we have a couple of bad eggs in our community.
You say that like these people are in every game. I’ve encountered that behavior maybe once in a blue moon. You don’t get banned for betraying a teammate one time, it’s for repeat offenders. Just like the game doesn’t give you the option to boot someone after the first betrayal. Accidents happen. Even if they are intentional.
There’s still a degree of responsibility for you not to betray him, even he is trying to set you up to do it. It sucks, especially when these people hound you to the ends of the earth, but you just need to be careful.
It’s not a perfect system, but it’s a lot better than people just being allowed to betray each other with no repercussions. If that were the case, he wouldn’t even be trying to set you up to betray him so he can take your power weapon after he kicked you, he would just kill you and take it.
Would you prefer a system that makes it difficult to get away with that behavior, or a system that makes it easier?

Have you played big team battle and gotten the sniper rifle or spartan laser? Then you would know that a majority of the time there is someone there trying to take it from you whatever the cost. I really don’t want to be kicked from the game for betrayal because some unsporting little nit wit thinks he/she should get the power weapon every time.

And I completely understand. As a whole, the system itself is fine. This post was more of just a “Hey, keep an eye out” because there are players in the community that try to exploit this system for there own personal needs.

Lucky you! Unfortunately that doesn’t go for everyone… I’m having hard times in mcc. For example when I have about 30 kills without death and then some idiot on my team decides to betray me over my sniper rifle.
I’m sure you can report people too.

Well make sure you take down their gamertag, so you can find em and file a -Yoink- review or report em.
