Or at least make it another playlist. It ruins it for the people who actually like the new halo. It also ruins it for the “return to classic” people. How are you going to pass off slayer pro as classic when it has 4 different starting weapons and no radar?
I kinda agree, it should be its own playlist.
Nothing wrong with offering both a Slayer Pro option & Infinity option, all they need to do is rework the voting options and rename the playlist to Team Slayer.
It works great in Halo 2, 3 & Reach, why not Halo 4?
Also, no one ever claimed Pro was meant to resemble ‘classic’ gameplay.
Honestly I don’t remember playing slayer pro in halo 3, but then again I only played lone wolf, social slayer a squad battle ( which thy should bring back).

Been playing that recently and I enjoy it!
Wow really… Slayer Pro is amazing in BTB. Even to me that I go solo on MM. The vehicles actually have a use now!!!
Slayer Pro rocks! I only wish more people would vote for it as I almost never get to play it. I’m sorry you can’t use your crutches to get kills in a Slayer Pro game.
Yea but unfortunately people play as if its infinity btb slayer, and disregard the importance of them.

When I mentioned other Halo games, I was referring to having multiple gametypes in one playlist.
IIRC, Team Rockets & Team Snipers were both playable in Team Slayer or Social Slayer. The same could apply here.

It was great that way, community wasn’t as divided as now.

Because it’s not being passed off as a Classic gametype. That’s why it’s called Slayer Pro.
If it was its own playlist, it’d be all i’d play.

It sure was a step to please that crowd, though. Making Infinity settings rule War Games at launch and turning mixed grab-bag playlists into single gametypes has contributed to a community split.
Not only will Slayer Pro be unable to make a recovery, but people have just gotten to used to picking a playlist like they’re playing one single gametype. They don’t like the possibility of playing something they didn’t choose anymore.
A bit of an off topic extra, but I wish the Veto system returned. Alongside mixed gametype playlists, this prevented one map ruling the rotation and kept gametype selection fresh.
How about no. Infinity should be secondary(It’s barely even Halo, no, not even!), Pro should be primary.
Slayer Pro really works well in doubles. But for Infinity Slayer, the majority of the population just needs radar. I guarantee people would be more open to trying it if they put in radar and called it Team Slayer rather than Slayer Pro.

No Halo doesn’t need motion tracker, it can use a radar yes, not the motion tracker.
Halo Pro is how the game should have been designed in the first place.
Also, makes reaching a 50 very easy because so many players suck.
yup, just add Motion tracker.
Getting killed from behind while,
walking forward,
running forward,
walking back and forth,
walking in circles,
staying with team,
Obviously having trouble without motion tracker. Helping the other team get there Assassinations though.

You seem to use this to often and think anyone who cannot play to your standards shouldn’t be playing.
I call it like I see’m.
I’ve spent the majority of my life trying to be the better person at everything I’ve attempted to be better than the next guy. Baseball, Paintball, Drafting, Engineering, etc.
Those that make excuses, blame other for their failures and those that cannot adapt to scenarios fall behind. **MT is nothing more than the same thing schools practice today, “no child left behind” and look where that’s put the US in total education? WAY behind the rest of the world, those that can’t be touch or not willing to learn need to get out of the way.
I’ve never been asked to be babied or been “spoon feed” anything.
The only reason a person needs motion tracker is because they are narrow minded and get stuck in tunnel vision. There is always someone trying to bet you in this world, if you’re the person waiting for someone to give you or supply you something, you deserve to be left behind.
MT is nothing more than a crutch and spoon feeding device, learn to play without it, you’ll better yourself in more than just gaming. Stop expecting to get -Yoink-, and figure it out yourself, you’d be surprised at what you can teach yourself if you try to better yourself.
Hell no, keep it.
It is the only chance right now for those of us who liked Halo before Halo 4 to play a good, fair game of slayer.
At least give it its own playlist and set of variants.
