How about we all take a moment and stop complaining about a video game for once and think about the fact that a number of children have been killed by a nut job with an assault rifle in a school. I know we all jump on here and whine and cry about someone betraying me for a mantis, or I can’t keep my free maps, but seriously things can be a whole lot worse. You may think this has no place on this forum, but frankly when something like this happens, it impacts EVERYONE.
So just a few selfless minutes of no complaining is all I ask.
What has happened there is truly terrible, but a forum for a video game designed around the concept of people running around shooting others is NOT the place to mention it in my opinion.

How did I know someone was going to bring this up? And what point was it to bring up a horrible cause in a gaming forum to end complaining? This is a gaming forum, not the news. Plus, why did you think this WOULD end it? You brought it up as if you don’t care for what happen to those kids, only to use it as a excuse on a game. You have no heart do you?
Wow it’s obvious the point of my thread was missed entirely and I am wishing I was able to lock it myself. I’m simply trying to remind people that there are more important things in life. If I knew I was going to draw this much hostility I certainly wouldn’t have bothered.

Well, it’s at least good to know you COULD care less.
Jerjef I’m not making light of the tragedy or saying this is a pointless thread. I do think you may be yelling at the rain if you think anything could stop the Halo fan base from whining, even for a day.
I’m a parent and I have child at the age of these poor children. It’s a nightmare for any Father or Mother. Unless you have a child and you’ve raised them from an infant you’ll never truly understand how much your parents really love you. I mean love you. I’d pull a gun and just end my life if that happened to my child, not to suicide but so my child is not alone in the next world.
But this is game forum and this belongs in General Discussion, not to brow beat players who dislike this game.
