We’ve got it down to November 2021. Take a shot at what DAY.
11/15 was the release of HALO:CE, so that would great, although it’s a Monday this year. What other dates are significant for the series?
(P.S. Happy early Bday, Chief!)

Here someone guessed the release date and I said either 11/15 because Halo CE anniversary or 11/11 because of his reasoning which I agreed with.
thanks for the link! I agree with those.
I think I’m missing something. Was a Nov. 2021 release window confirmed somewhere?

343i Has stated “fall 2021”, with Voice actor Verlon Roberts quoting “Pushed to November”.
November 15 is an obvious frontrunner. Trying to capitalize on CE nostalgia is a solid marketing decision, especially if the many instances we’ve seen of 343i trying to recapture the “feeling” of CE in Infinite end up panning out in the final product.
That said, it may depend on what else is launching in the Holiday window this year. Halo used to be a sufficiently bohemoth title to assert itself whenever it wanted to launch, but I don’t believe it enjoys that status anymore. It might be smarter to release a bit earlier in the year, maybe like Halo: Reach did in September of 2010. If Halo is available before a number of the other AAA shooters of the year, it will stand a better chance of getting crossover success with FPS fans who’d simply ignore it if they had their yearly CoD fix, for example.
If I had to put money down, I’d still say November 15 is the most likely launch date, but 343i definitely needs to figure this out sooner than later. And in making that decision, they should keep in mind that Halo probably doesn’t have the brand power to bulldoze through stiff AAA competition like it once did.

I agree that Halo doesn’t have the same status as it used 10+ years ago, but Infinite was originally going to release last November anyway before the delay. I think the anniversary date of CE is a huge marketing opportunity for 343 and Microsoft and they will try to capitalize on that. My first guess is the 15th or maybe the 16th.
Im guna say either September or November 15
I’ll agree with the prevailing sentiment that it is likely November 15th. Not only is it the same as CE, but it’s at about the right time for the Christmas shopping season. Only a few days before Black Friday (and Cyber Monday).
I hope we get a date at E3 - my work keeps booking me in for trade shows at the end of the year and I’m worried about missing the launch and being sat in a Holiday Inn in Birmingham somewhere.
13th of nov maybe?

I’d be gutted to have to play it for the first time on that, I tried Reach the other day and the input lag was atrocious.
I would love a solid twenty years after CE release. Fan service.

Then pack your console up! Lol.
I took a week vacation with the wife who had a work conference to go to. I played Xbox in the hotel while she was attending the conference, then we went and partied afterwards.
I’m mentally prepared that the release date will be Nov.15

Not so easy with a PC and Ultrawide unfortunately. I’ll have to just hope the dates are announced so I can put holiday in and avoid being booked up.

There is no confirmation of November. My guess is October 26, but that’s just speculation, they usually come out on Tuesdays
