I don’t get this logic people keep saying here… What if you bought a bag of chips, and after 10 chips, it sealed shut and said “that’s enough for today”?
Maybe give us incentive to play the game rather than give us more reasons to put it down? Makes no sense…
well its a funny analogy, it would be a little less than the proper serving size in most cases and wouold actually be a good idea.

Now, if they took out armors. Made everyone the default armor… You’d throw an absolute fit.
Halo is fun. I have fun ranking up. If I’m not getting ranked up, why not just make custom games and a custom game finder and call it matchmaking?

A better analogy would be “what if you walked up to a fat guy stuffing his face with chips and told him to take a break?” There’s this thing called going outside. You know, play some tennis, go for a run, whatever. It’s not good for you to spend all day playing Halo.

That’s the problem. I don’t play long at all. I hit the cap in a few hours.
Repetitiveness isn’t really an issue for me.

Thanks dad, I’m glad I got your approval in life. But hey, maybe because you don’t want to play for a few hours, doesn’t mean other people don’t want to. Who are you to tell me what I should and shouldn’t be doing?

I do agree with MuG Bacon Bits, last night I played maybe 15-20 matches and somehow hit the credit limit after I reach level 36 or 37. Really pissed me off and I didn’t even play the whole day, just off and on.
Very irritating and insulting, I paid for this game, I should be able to play it to its full extent.

the xp cap is 343’s way of telling you to stop eating.
I haven’t hit the cap yet but then again, I do other things than play halo.

dude people keep saying they “cant” play cuz they hit the cap. Im saying you can. Play cuz its fun who cares about the cap?
The XP cap is 125k. If you hit that I think it’s a good way to know you need to put the game down. Or just stop caring about rank so much. What would you guys have done years ago when games didn’t have ranks or track stats?

I’m trying to help you to take care of your body. At the very least, you should be taking periodic breaks to exercise and get your circulation going. Spending 2 hours daily playing a videogame is ridiculous.

duh. that’s the problem. My chips, my body, I do what I want.
you would rather it level up so slow it goes up 1/500th of a level every game? that sounds worse in my opinion…
