Why do I hear Spartans callouts referring to shields? There are no shields so in this game mode.
When I hear “my shield’s been popped” or “enemy shields down” I’m just like 
So the shields don’t register in the first person view, but when you see the enemy player’s health bar on your death screen the shield bar is present, but unaffected.
I dunno if this observation has anything to do with this quirk, but it’s another observation.
