I prefer BR swat and don’t like the magnum and mangler variants as much so I’m going to say no.

Keep them as an occasional event playlist sure, but not part of the vanilla playlists.

Also they should add sangheili as armor core

God no BRs are the best thing out of this new SWAT and the other modes with the pistol and mangler are awful

I’ve actually enjoyed the mix up so far. Each weapon variation plays very differently.

But I appreciate how it wouldn’t wash with SWAT purists.

Maybe they could have Tac Slayer as a permanent list (with BR) and then rotate regular variations through. eg. Make Tuesday and Thursdays Tac Ops. And then the occasional Tac Ops weekend.

Only if the BR TS goes back to a proportional matchmaking rate.

I dunno how many TS games I played, but I got BR’s a noticeably minimal amount of times.

Agreed, I didn’t mind the other game modes at first because it was something new, but now I cant get a BR game to save my life and its my favorite game mode so I’ve grown to hate the forced shuffle mode. Especially the damn manger, I get that game mode wayyy more than the rest. They should have left classic BR tactical as separate option.

NO! Get rid of the variants! Or make them a separate playlist, but that’s too complicated for the folks at 343. The BR’s only happen 1 out of 10 games. The BR’s are the one thing they got right with Infinite, they work awesome.

Amen, I get tired of it being a mauler, stalker playlist rather than playing with the weapon that everyone enjoys in swat. There’s a guy in my discord that has never played halo but got it last week since I was playing. He’s actually pretty decent for never playing halo, but a week in and he as just as disappointed as me when a non br match comes. My point of the story is, not only do you have existing players that don’t like the variants, you have new players that feel the same way. We enjoy the game mode, just not how 343 is forcing us to play it
