I intend to minimally grab the MkV and then get whatever. I like playing Infinite, I will just play the Event as much as I can stand then go back to BTB.

We all said that back at launch. Big part of why i stopped playing. It sucks. Kinda just enjoying watching this game burn to the ground at this point. They just refuse to make any moves to save this.

just had a match where I joined mid match and my camera broke, so I was stuck staring at a wall the entire game, could still move shoot and jump, but it didnāt matter since my camera view was a wall.
first time ive ever experienced such a break in this game

Tactical is not fun. You know what can be fun? Plasma Pistol only fights. 300% Overshield melee fights. Infinite Grapple + Rockets. Infinite Hammer + Repulsor.
Thatās what I consider fun, not some sweatfest with a FOMO reward track and even stupider challenges.

Honestly agree with you aye. Halo Tac event is pathetic. Better be careful what we all say cause the admins donāt like the truth and getting their feelings hurt. You are right the game is trash. Halo Infinite which I regret spending $130 Australian on and buying the Legendary edition was not worth it. Content lacks. Cat ears are a disgrace to the Spartan name and the stupid cash grabs that so many childish people buyā¦Then they do a Swat event, cāmon call it what it is. ITāS NOT TACTICLE SLAYER!!..ITāS SWAT! They put Manglers!! Seriously??? The worse gun to put into a SWAT game modeā¦ but wait they screwed the pistol up. The pistol is horrible to use in this game mode. They NEEEEED to fix it big time. Bring back the OG DMR and keep it as Battle Rifle, Pistol (after proper adjustments) and DMR. The pistol needs so much more work for it. You have to spam the trigger in order to get the head shot.
Think about honesty they took 6+ years to fix MCC you think they are gonna fix this game??? No wonder their multiplayer designers are quitting and they canāt get it right when they are ruining the name HALO. 343i still ruining Halo. More worried about their shop then their actual game playing content. More worried about colours and skins and dw we can tell your gonna implement a battle royal mode. Itās obviously going to happen. Cause the signs are there cause they are running out of options.

The game is honestly really really fun, but the āEventsā and how they implement is just not sustainable. You donāt abuse your playerbase repeatedly and expect them to keep coming back, youāre not running a gacha over here.
The point I want to make here is that every Event sucks so much fun out of the game and abuses the players so much by forcing them to play things they donāt want to play. Seriously, whoever designs events at 343 is an enemy to gamers everywhere.

Not gonna lieā¦ Kinda donāt wanna even play this event. I havenāt played since I finished Tenrai a month ago, since Tac Ops was delayed a month (because 343 has no content until Season 2 in May). Itās justā¦ reeeaaaalllyyy not fun to grind these awful challenges.
Tons of end killjoy challenges, weapon specific challenges in a random weapon specific mode rotation, tons of backsmack challenges in a mode where one headshot kills you and everyone hides camping. Who is giving any of this a thumbs up? Theyāre extremely malicious, and sabotaging the game ratings. They must strongly want Halo to die so they donāt have to go through 10 more years of this.
