Where do I start?

  • You still gave us Killjoy challenges despite massive responses from the community to not have them.
  • You expertly crafted a single playlist with different weapon types while giving them specific weapon challenges
  • You still opted to keep our Challenges gated with the Upcoming Challenges system instead of creating a separate Event Challenge roster

Keep testing us. See if you will have a playerbase left for Season 2, and that is if you guys don’t delay it.

I don’t think it’s a matter of time, it’s a matter of fun. SWAT is an already sweaty game mode and you want players to… sweat harder?

Really miss fun action-sacky stuff like Grifball. And heck they could even make a mode which is like infinite Grapples + Ravagers, but they chose the sweatiest game mode to turn into an even sweatier event.

Here’s what’s going to happen.

The whole endless thing is going to be a time travel enemy and zeta will be the device.

We’re going to be going back in time to change events as master Chief.

We’re going to halo 3 to save Johnson.
We’re going to halo 4 to save Cortana from rampancy
We’re going halo CE to prevent the release of the flood.
We’re going to halo 4 to prevent the release of the didact.
We’re going to halo wars 2 to deal with the banished
We’re going to reach to save noble 6.
And we’re just going to bounce around the halo timeline to have an Avengers level event cause everyone thinks that what you have to do now.

There. Theres the next 10 years of content.

Looking forward to it?
I’d rather just a good story going forward.

Somehow I feel like the flood would just get out somewhere else. Like… from my understand zeta halo was used to experiment on flood, this place should probably have broken containment already and be swarmed right?

Totally on board with saving Johnson though

Edit: wait yeah halo wars def shows us the flood was not only released on halo 1

I just used challenge swaps to get the easier challenges. Other than that, yeah, it’s kinda annoying how it tries to stop you from doing them. Like, one of them is kill enemies with the mangler. If you’re out of challenge swaps, you potentially have to wait through multiple other gametypes (pistol tactical and regular tactical) just to get a chance of getting the challenge done.

I’m fairly optimistic I can complete the event just fine in the time that’s given, but I have to say I agree that every single one of the OP’s three points is without a doubt a mind boggling decision by 343 for an event like this given the existing community feedback. They come off as frustration tactics, which tend to not work on a playerbase that is beyond frustrated…

Definitely ain’t missing out on anything… Swat is toilet as is and the cosmetics for this event are just terrible…back to MCC.
