If you have seen Polygon’s new Halo video you’ll see that the guy is holding a tactical magnum with the green boomco skin.

But the rest of the loadout variants use the same skins as the base weapon so this was expected…

I think most people were unsure of whether or not standard Magnum skins would apply to the Tactical and Gunfighter Magnums because they lacked the Smart Scope module and underbarrel flashlight of the standard, which causes them to have significantly different silhouettes compared to the base and Extended Magazine variants. Most other weapon variants look very similar to the basic version because the attachment usually only affects the barrel or part of the weapon to the side of the barrel. In addition to that, most also have a modular rail system that causes different scopes and sights to have little effect on the main body of the gun.
I don’t know why you guys are giving him a hard time. I was pretty surprised when I got the H2 BR and discovered it couldn’t be reskinned.

Yeah that’s why I was kinda surprised that the new magnums would have skins.
Also the guy had the tactical magnum without a skin then he just gets the boomco skin on it out of nowhere.

Yup
Tactical Is an attachment so it can have skins.
Gunfighter is a different gun, that might have its own skins.
