T-storm | Blackeye Gold Medal Not Updating

Game: Halo Waypoint Web, Spartan Assault Service Record

Platform: Windows 8 laptop, IE 10, fully updated

Description:
This isn’t the first time I’ve had this problem. Last time, it was fixed a day after I posted about it; not sure if there was any causation, but here’s hoping lightning strikes twice…

I’ve been going through Spartan Assault Operation F with the Thunderstorm and Black Eye skulls active to get those nifty Uber-Gold Medals on my Waypoint Service Record. They showed up as expected on Missions 1 and 2, but not on Mission 4. (I skipped Mission 3 for now.)

I know some of the game data made it into Waypoint since I happened to have bested my previous high score on that run, and it shows up properly when I click on Leaderboards. However, the Leaderboard summary indicates NO skulls were active during that run. I’m absolutely sure I had at least Black Eye on since my non-regenerating shield was stressing me out!

It may also be worth mentioning that the last time I had this issue, the Total Number of Games shown on the Service Record stopped increasing as I played more games. I didn’t keep track of that this time, but maybe the two are connected in a way that helps resolve the issue.

Expected Result:
I should see the Super-Duper Double Skull Gold medal on my Spartan Assault Service Record for Operation F, Mission 4. Those two skulls should also show on the Leaderboard summary page for that run-through, during which I earned my personal best score.

Actual Result:
The high score registered on the Leaderboard, but the skulls aren’t shown in the Leaderboard summary and the Double-Skull Gold isn’t shown on my Service Record.

Thanks!

UPDATE

75% fixed! Thanks! Was that you guys, or did the server gnomes just get around to it?

So, first, the good news: I have my fancy Double-Skull Gold on Operation F, Mission 4 on Waypoint under Service Record. Also, I finally struck Gold on F3, and that propagated through to Waypoint right away.

Bad news: When I click the Leaderboards tab and set the filters to Windows 8, Operation F, Mission 4, I still see the high score with no skulls. By contrast, with the filters set to another Mission on which my high score was achieved on my Double-Skull Gold run, (specifically Operation F, Mission 2), the Thundersorm and Blind Skulls do show up next to the High Score.

Again, I don’t trust my memory 100% on whether I had both skulls on – maybe I slipped and hit Pacifist or something instead. But I definitely had at least Black Eye active since I was constantly keeping an eye on my non-regenerating shield, so at least that should be visible if the system is working and this is user error. Of course, the Double-Skull Gold (is there a more succinct, official name than Double-Skull Gold? Mythic? Onyx?) would suggest there is a back-end record somewhere of my achieving that score with both skulls.

The only alternative explanation I can think of is that you guys read my post, took pity on me, trusted my story, and stuck the medal on my Service Record in good faith but forgot to do the same for the high score on Leaderboards. If that’s the case, tear it all down! I’ll do it again, and this time I won’t dodge that Elite rush on the last power core – I can beat that high score with Black Eye and Thunderstorm again, but I need to be confident the data will go through to the Waypoint servers to make it worth my while :0)

…Or this could just be me not waiting long enough for certain pieces of data to make it through to the Web UI. I figured if Missions 1, 2 and 3 correctly updated in minutes, so should Mission 4, but maybe I’m mistaken and some will updates randomly take a few days… If so, let me know so I can stop filling up your forum with long messages.

Final Thought: Is there a record somewhere of how many XP I earned on that run. I didn’t calculate how many combinations of Black Eye + maybe-another-skull-that-I-thought-was-Thunderstorm yield the same XP multiplier, but that may be further evidence as to whether or not I had both skulls on since we can divide the total earned by the standard Gold XP multiplier.

Sigh… I write too much on Adderall.
