System requirement error code 0x80000001

I am unable to start Halo 5: Forge due to an error. Image of error: http://imgur.com/GPpk5F8
Error code: 0X80000001

Windows 10 x64 Anniversary
AMD Phenom II x6 @ 3.5
8GB Ram
MSI GTX 760 2GB @ 3.0. Running latest driver from Nvidia (Direct-x 12) and express settings.

Note: I used one of the popular “disable windows 10 tracking” tools recently. I used the same tool’s revert option to get ready for Halo so I hope this is not a side effect of this.

Edit: Accidentally said Windows 7. Old habits die hard. I have Windows 10 Anniversary

You need to be on Windows 10(along with the Windows 10 Anniversary Update) to run Halo 5 Forge.

Likewise but not the same specific code. I originally got 0x80073CF0 > restart > 0x80070490 > then and now > 0x80070005

Well Yea, but what i’m saying is I am getting the same type of error when loading up the game It gives me “0x80000013” then just exits out.

Looks like our k10 cpus are not going to run halo. Maybe someone will write a compatibility layer like people have done for steam games

  • This means your CPU is below the minimum specifications to run Halo 5: Forge, and you may experience poor performance or stability when running this title. - Make sure your CPU supports SSE 4.1. For more information, visit your CPU manufacturer’s website or contact their support.
Seems like either I missed this in my searches or they updated it this morning.

Still no fix for this? Unless I’m missing a vital piece of info, the freakin’ No Man’s Sky devs had this same problem, and they patched it. They aren’t the most competent folks in the world, so come on, 343, let me play your game.

Fellow Phenom 2 user here.

I’ve been at this since day one, posting on the forums and twitting with the only response being “unfortunately phenom 2 is not supported”.

Esto se debe a que los procesadores phenom XII son procesadores antiguos que, aunque cumplen con las especificaciones,
no tienen las últimas instrucciones nuevas como SSSE3, SSE4.1 y SSE4.2.
