So during the Halo panel at PAX did anyone notice the weird transition during the video with Bravo showing off lockdown?
Here’s the video the symbol appears at 0:49 and at 1:31.
Could this be a hint at new waypoint codes or even content on the halo channel?

It’s a Covenant glyph. Waypoint codes have always been Forerunner glyphs.
What you’re viewing is a typical transition, and given the Covenant’s prominence in Halo 2, they chose to make the transition a Covenant glyph in representation of that (my opinion).

Its possible it is the terminals in Halo 2 being all about Thel Vadam and the novel Broken Circle coming out. Its possible there will be a terminal to input covenant glyphs like how there were foreunner glyphs in Silentium.

It doesn’t match exactly with anyone of the known glyphs but has a similar design to those seen on Lasky’s comm unit in forward unto dawn
