From all the things we can gather from news, hints, trailers, and gameplay so far we know Chief is the main focus. But we have little to no reason to believe that the Arbiter will be returning; or at least evidence backing up his return. I gotta say Arbiter was one of if not, the only good thing about H5G since it’s been a while we’ve seen our favorite character. I would like to see him return with shipmaster Rtas Vadum as well. 343s goal is to capture that nostalgic feel of the old games, right? I hope there’s a part of the game where the swords of sanghelios show up and join battle. Fighting alongside the Elites has to be one of the most epic parts of Halo history.

As I said in another Thread, I would love to play Arby in a Post-Release, Story Expansion - Given that Infinite is supposed to be a Live Service Game and that Installation is big, there is no point why not, same with Osiris and Blue Team.
I want to play as him again, especially now that they have their adorable (sorry but they are adorable space puppies) look again, or any other Elite including Multiplayer.
I don’t really expect him as of now to show up in the Main Story but i’d like to be wrong, same goes for Spark, Didact, the Spirit.

Story expansion for Arby??? Boy that would be great
I see it now that the Arbiter role in the master chiefs story is finished trying to find new ways to tie the story back to him in someways to me just seems contrived.

Ehh for me Arbiter is a HUGE icon and has just as much influence as the Chief. Well at least to me. He deserves more arc & shine in the reclaimer saga. I hope one day we’ll get a whole game or 2 dedicated to Arby (:
I’m a bit of a arby fanboy; so any chance for him to return would be great. I would love if he was playable, or as mentioned earlier an expansion focused on him would be a dream come true. I’ve been hoping for an arby game since ODST lol.
on that note a book written from his POV mainly would be stellar as well; I did enjoy the story with rtas and would also love to see him return/more of him.

Yeah I don’t see him playable in the main campaign of infinite. Unless 343 is hiding something up their sleeves. But a campaign expansion would be dope. Another great way to introduce playable elites in multiplayer would probably be Elite Ops. Play as a Swords of Sanghelios team of Elites taking on the Banished/Created.

Elite Ops could be centered around a squad of Elites trained to stealthily infiltrate Brute camps and kill everything. They could call the mode Invasion 2.0 and everyone would go crazy!
You have no idea how much I want Arbiter to just be in the campaign alongside chief, I want it so bad. I don’t care if he is shoehorned into cutscenes in multiplayer campaign, it just needs to happen.
That being said, I really don’t have much hope for it from what we’ve seen.

You never know! Infinite’s marketing thus far has only focused on Chief which was done to clearly communicate to fans that there will be no other characters attempting to take his place. But, I’m sure other characters will make a return. It wouldn’t make sense to have Chief and Brohammer as the only protagonists for the entire campaign.

I just hope there’s a part near the end where a big battle breaks out and Chief is outnumbered then Arbiters fleet and Spirit of Fire show up to the rescue or something.

I wouldn’t mind playing as the arbiter in a spartan ops like mode . Also in the spartan ops mode we could play as the rest of blue team and red team also some members of the banished
