Is this thing just bugged and refuses to give headshots? I’ve shot people straight in the face multiple times only to pop their shields instead of instagibbing them. The weapon description says nothing about disabling headshots which is why I’m confused around it. Anyone else ran into this issue?
Not killing people instantly? With a sword? To the face?

might be a latency issue or they are using increased shields armor perk
the perks for that beam rifle are: increased hipfire accuracy (on a beam rifle? which is the easiest sniper to hip fire?) faster rate of fire, and can shoot 4-5 times quickly before overheating

It’s the ultra rare beam rifle.

I doubt it’s latency when it’s pointed at their face and counts as a bodyshot. Try it, it just doesn’t count headshots with this beamrifle for some reason.
Same here, I picked one up and it wont give headshots.
