Good afternoon Spartans! Ok so on the mission Delta Halo from Halo 2 you can find a room with 2 dead grunts and 2 energy swords. I discovered this way back when I was kid and always just thought these grunts were playing around with energy swords and accidentally killed each other. My question is did you guys know about this and what is your explanation for it? Always thanks for stopping by, post, like, share, follow, stay positive, and have a great day Halo community!
Huh, never noticed this. My guess is probably the covenant we’re trying to tech the hunts how to use energy swords, the test did not go well for the grunts, as their hands were far to small to hold such a blade.

It took a whole rebellion to give them plasma pistols, think of how much it would take to give them energy swords…
Never noticed it, they probably some how holding the sword with two hands and they killed each other by accident or by some weird Grunt duel.

I don’t know, maybe the elites we’re being nice? I don’t know the lore very well.

But why would the Elites drop perfectly good Swords?

Perhaps they just got new ones so they let the grunts play with them a little?

Doubt it, maybe they found it off RuthlessSkate94 (My Deacon) brothers dead bodies and killed each other.

They had weaponry before their little issue. It is not right to call it a rebellion.
Their hands aren’t small… grunts aren’t really that small… Grunts have big hands and arms.

It’s called a rebellion on every source that mentions their “little issue”.

How many Sangheili are that nice?
Hardly any at all, they’d also have to be higher than a minor because even they are rarely given swords.
They definitely weren’t allowed the swords. Energy Swords are almost sacred in Sangheli culture. Everyone knows how little Sangheli think of the Unggoy, so there is not a chance that they would give one to them.

well regardless of what your so called “sources” say. The Unggoy did not put up a fight. They are nothing compared to The mighty Covenant.

One way I can prove that it was called a rebellion, is from halo 2.
“The grunt rebellion, the taming of the hunters, the covenant would’ve fallen long ago if it weren’t for the Arbiters.”
There’s also a halo 2 terminal stating that it was a rebellion.

Posh it was nothing, it was just a little dispute. The Unggoy did not pull anything off that serious.

An arbiter was created just because of the rebellion.
The aftermath gave them better roles within the covenant.
It proved to the Covenant that the Unggoy could be powerful military assets.

Umm, Halo 2 anniversary terminal about the Unngoy being absorbed into The Covenant. An entire terminal that talks about their “rebellion” and how they actually put up quite a fierce opposition.
I think the grunts stole swords from the elites, either for a small rebellion, or sheer stupidity. I would assume the elites killed them, but that wouldn’t explain why they left the swords. The grunts probably killed each other.
