We are looking for people who support the sword duel. We feel this was a very fun aspect of the game and would like to see it returned to all the playlists but especially rumble pit.

We are making a campaign effort to bring back the sword duel to rumble pit and other playlists but especially rumble pit.

You will be supported by myself and others who wish to promote this cause.

So that you know your leadership is competent on this topic check Hagbar out on the world leader boards (check world stats Go to leader boards and set the filters to competitive then rumble pit. You can easily see that Hagbar holds a high spot in the world average top 100 for the pummel. Also the Hag, along with friends of the cause, hold top 100 positions for use of the sword. We are also sword fans!

Being big fans of sword use is not a requirement for supporting this issue obviously but it’s important to note that the people supporting this cause do love the sword and also love the duel! We want to be able to challenge the sword with a duel and want you to do the same when we are wielding the sword. The game is more fun this way!

hey hagbar, nice post, even though i’m not good with the sword, i liked to be able to have a least a chance of taking it away from whoever has it. I’d say they should bring back sword duel, especially for rumble pit.

Apparently it’s a lonely world out here but I’m resolved to continue fighting for this thing.

The sword duel stands as one of the most intense and heart pounding closed quarters actions any game has seen in the history of gaming thus far, certainly my favorite in Reach. The timing and accuracy must be just right and the results are magnificently rewarding when you are on the winning end. To remove that takes away from one of the greatest interactions in the game and we won’t stand for letting that slide!

Our very own mapmaker made a sick Sword duels map and gametype. We played it during last week’s game night and it’s deinitely going in the rotation. You should check it out. The Spartan Force.
