Switching to bumper jumper sucks!

Phrasing?

Yea same here

Lol I figured it was miscomunicated

It always takes a long time to get used to a new control scheme. If you give it some time, you’ll get used to it. I switched to Bumper Jumper back in Reach, I got used to it by using it in campaign.

The melee and reload is the worst part. Mostly melee.

I only use the Reclaimer layout and any other layout like it as it is the most compatible with other games.

Switch to Bumper Jumper then play the Campaign of the Halo game in which you are changing the control scheme. That worked for me, and I am pretty good at using Bumper Jumper now.

It’s just so much different than any other shooter layout I’ve played. I’ve just been playing swat due to the simplicity of the game. I must say it feels good to jump and aim.

The beauty of bumper jumper is that it makes it supremely easy, once you get the hang of it, to jump, aim, shoot and throw grenades. The bumpers and triggers are right next to each other, so you don’t have to take your thumbs off the sticks to jump or melee, meaning you have a greater overall mobility. It works great.

Bumber jumper also saved you the grief of having to learn to claw finger. Meaning you use your index finger to hit YXBA without removing you thumbs from the sticks. This help players who mainly play default though from the CE, halo 2 days before halo 3 introduced number jumper.

So now it’s been a few days and it feels much more natural. I still have a lot of muscle memory to train, but I’m liking it.

This isn’t the first time I’ve had to trudge through a button layout switch, but it is the most complex and definitely the most difficult.
