Most people seem to like the BR much more than the DMR , and since the TU is about making MM feel more like a classic expirience they should make the DMR a BR , so my suggestion to 343 is that they edit it to make it seem like a BR.
And I know they can , because if mods CAN do it im sure 343 can.
Just because the TU is to make it a more “classic experience” doesn’t mean they should deviate from what’s already been established for Reach. And if the TU was really going for a more classic feel, they would remove AA’s altogether instead of just nerfing them.
> Its not really possible Sam. It wouldnt be like the BR at all, especially with the lack of a fixed fire rate.
but they could potentially tweak the settings a bit right? at least to make the weapon behave a little bit differently from the semi-auto dmr. ok, so it won’t be like the br exactly. i myself just wish this game had a bit more weapon variety. they really went downhill in that area.

DUDE HELL YEAH!! If the BR came back and replaced the DMR…its time to dump the girlfriend and back to playing hardcore Halo 24/7 instead of the once every month!
If 343i makes this happen they will replace Jesus Christ and become a religion which I will completely give my soul to and my undying devotion and worship!
> Except the DMR has bloom, not a fixed fire rate, ETC
All ballastic weapons in Halo (save the Sniper Rifles in any Halo and the BR in Halo 2) have had “bloom”, also known as their “Cone of Effect”. Reach is simply the first system where players have an actual, direct hand in determining it as well as the first one where it actually shows the cone of effect changing in the reticule.
