Sweaty handed Xbox Gamer!! I need advice!!

Ok ok, before I start yes, the title may seem a little… gross

But I could not think of anything better with out sounding click baity. Ok, so here is my problem. My hands sweat, but not like a regular person where you can easily dry them off and forget about it, no no, you see, My Dad has sweaty hands as well and passed this down to me, This is genetic, which causes it not only to sweat more often, but produce much more sweat in the process. In fact, they are sweating as I type this OP… eh… sorry.

This causes an issue when playing Halo, playing other games, using my computer, or doing anything that involves my hands. tonight I saw it at its worst, most of the time, it just makes the controller a little shiny and a little watery that’s a gross description uh, wet. Well, today I seem to have hit my worst, I did not even make it through one game of grifball before it got so out of control I had to drop the controller and go wash my hands. The controller looked as if I dipped the two “grips” in water, my left palm began dripping!! dripping!! sadly I was kicked out and now have a DNF, but, I had not choice, if its not getting disconnected, it could be due to a sweating problem.

So here is my question, does anyone have any tips? does anyone else have this problem, not in just gaming but in general, heck if anyone has tips on how to making writing easier, please tell me!

Once again, sorry if I grossed anyone out :frowning:

I had an amazing Xbox 360 controller that had fans and vents built into it. I don’t know if they make them for Xbone.

Get a towel supply and cover the controller with it except for the buttons sticks and triggers and refresh the towel with a new one!

2 things.
I personally don’t have issues like that at all. In fact my hands are ice-cold. That sucks too because it slows reactionspeed. However, temperature is a delicate thing. i would highly suggest the following:

  • Open a window or 2, let the temperature drop by a few degrees will prevent sweating. - get a case there are sillicon/rubber cases for your controller, these give additional grip compared to normal ones. - get squidgrips, these are little hats for your thumbsticks. They give additional grip as well, which is clearly useful in your situation. these things combined will make your controller less slippery.

I wish such a thing existed…

Geez, Have you tried gloves?

keep a towel nearby wipe hands during spawns

Lol sweaty hands love you!

I guess you could wear latex gloves. Then the sweat would be worse but contained within the glove.

The issue is that my hands would just build up the sweat, though I have debated using gloves. and I know, it gets bad, but not as bad as last night.

Just to go out there, does anyone know of any kind of glove I could get to wear while gaming.

Hohoo…I feel your “pain”, I have this problem too, and not only when I playing but in general, sometimes when my hands more sweaty than in general, I think I could supply Africa with water, if sweat would be freshwater. It’s very disgusting and irritating. When I nervous than it get worse.
However I think FaZe Kaininn right about rubber case thing. My phone back also made from somekind of rubber, and I don’t feel it as it would slide out from my hands. So probably that would worth to try.

I didn’t even do anything either!! I didn’t even make it through the match, I mean it was a bit of washing my hands, and taking a picture of my hand to kik to my friends who were in the party, that and I was laughing really hard because of how bad it was… yet my spartan sat in that game idle for like a minute, way longer then I thought he would last.

I’m not alone!! I could probably fill like a milk gallons a day for the amount of sweet I make on my hands, if it became a full on liquid instead of a slimy layer on my palm.

I guess then you to must have issues when it comes to writing yes? Its so bad, I feel like I waste so much time patting my hands, trying to dry them off. I can make freaking papers stick to my hand as if I am making them float in some kind of cheap magic trick.

Its so bad…

I have thought about it, but never have, I would like to find a solution that can be used for other things then just gaming. It has crossed my mind for gaming though, but I would need to look more into it as I wouldn’t want my hands to just build up sweat in the gloves.

Exactly, and the paper become wavy/waved because of my sweaty hand. Another problem when I keep my hands in my pocket, and have to handshake…and it’s vain to try to cool down or dry my hands 1 minute later it’s started again. So yes, it’s very bad.
