The Achilles helmet and armor. This particular armor set has caused so much farming and sweats.Spartan Company’s don’t even let people in unless there “Elite” spartans I beg 343 Industries make it al little less challenging. But also there are new players who come in this game and just don’t even try to play because they just get crushed in the game thy try to have fun in, and personal that’s why I think their is so much hate in Halo 5 if new players come in and get crushed by sweats and try-hards where does that leave the game creators who want to expand. I feel that leaders of companies should build the community by letting anyone who wants to join-join. The We Need Achilles group let’s multiple people in but for some reason I have never gotten in. Some company require a rank of diamond or above. Really you could improve a few things like
Make it easier so there aren’t sweats and try-hards
Make the commendations required a little more fun
make a rule for company’s that if you apply you get immediately
and if you do that leave the commendations at the exact level their at now
So in conclusion we want the beautiful armor set Achilles but there are improvements that can be made, but you guys at 343i are doing a great job fans love the game and we want more armor sets to achieve not buy. Oh ya also you guys could add another variant like flame or zebra or just something cool to earn with all the same `commendations but a with a twist. Thank you for this and I hope people agree with me.
Sorry but I disagree. Sorry but there were " sweats" and “try hards” in Halo long before Achilles. Also of course new players are going to get beat by players who have been playing a long time. It’s like that in every game. Halo has a steep learning curve and that is what makes it so great to most of us. It takes a long time to get good at it.
Well like LethalQ said, the sweats/tryhards have been around LONG before the Achilles grind fest began. To an extent, I can understand why they get like that, I mean have you see the commendations to get the armor in a company(no offense intended of course); it takes A LOT of time & teamwork to get the Achilles Armor as whole set, let alone just the armor piece.
Plus as LethalQ also said, they’re going to A LOT of experienced players playing halo 5 now, that have probably even started since day 1 of Halo CE, so it’s no surprise you’ll be bumping into those guys also. Achilles was going to be a challenge from the start to get no doubt, but yes I agree some players you can bump into take it a bit too far and do the sweat/try hard behavior, but some are so good since they’ve been playing for so long that it’s one of those things that’ll have to live with in Halo 5. Best suggestion for you OP since it’s late to change the stats on the Achilles armor set is just to find a decently numbered company(and HIGHLY active company on top of that) and roll with them that way. It’s a lot of work, but if Achilles is on your halo 5 wishlist, then it’ll be worth the pain and suffering and times you can make if you do it with other company members you’ve befriended.
Even if Achilles wasn’t ever implemented game play and games would play the same way. Achilles wasn’t around in previous games and there were plenty of one sided games. What was to blame then?
What I will tell new players is to stick to heroic warzone firefight until you get used to the aiming and build a good req inventory, start with silver packs untill they refund two 1500 point req cards and then open golds. Then venture into regular warzone or assault. In arena it’s pretty much competitive in any playlist so maybe stick to some of the social stuff before getting into the ranked stuff. If you want to be in a company go to the recruiting section and post a thread or look for threads and see if any companies will fit you.
Its all a matter of perspective from what I’ve seen…no one will ever admit to being a tryhard, and the term itself is flexible. If someone’s trying their hardest to win and still having fun, does that make them a tryhard? If you were outplayed by someone, does that make them a tryhard?

The rule is everyone better than you is a try hard and every one worse than you is a noob…

Gamer logic 101…
Tryhards/Sweats, it’s never gonna end. Some of them including me have fun by playing their best and it’s been happening in every video game out there. So, what do you think people who try their best are gonna find their fun?
I understand that that a lot of people want that set, I do to. But people also wanted Recon. If we remove the part that makes the set so difficult to get, nerf the challenge, the rewards become less special. Don’t expect the challenges to get easier, but maybe some new rewards with easier challenges are in the future.
The company I am in simply want a funny joke and they will let you in. We got the armour already and we never farmed people. The only thing that could get you kicked out is if you don’t play much. H5 which is fair because you are basically just wasting a spot that could be for someone else
All this to say, its not very hard to find a company to take you in, I was looking for about 10 mins about a year ago when I joined up.
Also, if you are playing ranked and getting beat by better players, it’s not their fault, hell I’ve been playing for over 12 years, I’d hope I’d be pretty good, some people obviously play more, I should expect them to be good.
Every time a good player wins people call them a try hard.
Yeah no. The requirements for all of Achilles armour is easy, if anything it’s time consuming. There is nothing that can be done about “sweats” or “tryhards”.
