Maybe some Carbines or even Light Rifles will be placed on the maps. We’ll have to wait and see.

I’m expecting the Carbine and the Light Rifle to be placed on the maps. But yes, I don’t understand why they’re not in the Loadout choices.

I’d love to see light rifles, would make for some interesting battles. SWAT is probably my favorite game type, so I’m excited

I have a theory on that. Since the Carbine has the fastest rate of fire of the four and how SWAT heavily emphasises quick reaction time, then maybe it’s too OP to have off spawn. Also with the Light Rifle having the range versatility and firing modes of both the BR and DMR, then maybe it’s also too OP to have off spawn.

So now 343 has the opportunity to mix this playlist up a bit. They could place a couple of Carbines and LRs in select locations on the map where the teams will have to fight for them. They will become the power weapons of SWAT. Something similar could be done in the Team Snipers playlist, since there are now 3 different snipers.
