So, isn’t Halo 5 great so far? I am highly enjoying especially after finding out on the launch day, the gametype SWAT! By far one of my favorite gametype throughout the Halo series. There’s just a slight discomfort i have with the gametype on Halo 5, which is SWATnums. I’m not a fan of the Magnum for Halo 5 and with the look sensitivity being so slow even at MAX, i cant really go for that killing frenzy without camping. What i’m trying to get to is, do you guys wish to actually filter the certain gametypes within’ the gametype? Like, not playing SWATnums more than regular SWAT? I mean, this is primarily for discussion of course. No flak needed.
Yes, Halo 5 SWAT is beautiful… I am also very pleased that it is a game type from day ONE!
Now on to the topic of filtering game types. I do not think this is a viable option. Since it would mess with matchmaking. See we could be on a fireteam and since you have a filter it will drop you out when I enter a game that you filtered etc.
Also I think that the different game types should be mandatory rotation and not on a vote. Now personally, I DO NOT care for the CTF, KoTH SWAT games either. Just should be slayer SWAT, but with the different weapons. I am sure there will be tweaks to the game overtime and we may even see the SWATnums toned down… But we may also see DMR only matches too.
Could just bring back voting for the next match and me personally i hate the br i’m not good with burst fire guns so they need to add the dmr back to it.
Swat’s my favorite mode in Halo. I miss the voting though. I notice that magnums seems to pop up a lot as oppose to using the BR or DRM.

Well its been about 50/50 between the br and magnum for me. I haven’t even seen a dmr in multiplayer yet.
I got slaughtered on SWAT.

I think it would be nice to have a voting system again…even if it is a pain in the butt sometimes.

I feel the same, i wish we could filter some of the options.
- I agree, magnums is frustration to the max.
- Spawns. Spawns are terrible. I’ve had my fair share of spawning on your x and dying 2-3 times in that same spot as well as seeing it happen to others.
swat is the bomb diggity I love getting that satisfying feel of shooting peeps in the head 
Swat is glorious!! I love it! I’m ranking in the Diamond rank and am absolutely loving it.
Its a bit different from halo 4, a lot more fast paced which is a thing you need to get used to in the start. To be fair I kind of miss having the magnum as well but I guess they removed it for legit reasons.

Def. My Favorite game type overall but it’s extremely latency dependant imo
343 needs to quit screwing around and just make SWAT the same way it’s always been. BR/pistol with 3 second respawn and fix the spawn system or re-work spawn point placement. No more of these atrocious SWATnums ruining the experience.
Also add more maps. Why on earth isn’t Coliseum and Truth in SWAT?
Overall, I love it and I finished grinding up to Onyx already and hope to improve enough to get Champion eventually. But these issues MUST be addressed.
