Please for the love of god can we talk about the Swat playlist.
This is mostly my opinion and I don’t know if others share it or not, but I hate Swatnums. With a passion. Not because I’m bad at it, and not because I dislike the Magnum. But because every -Yoink- time I look for a game of Swat, I get thrown into 3 Swatnums games in a row then get Swat DMRs afterwards. I wish I could just play regular Swat with my BR when I want too.
I propose there be a separate rotating playlist called ‘Single Shot Swat’ or something, and have Swatnums and Swat DMRs in that playlist, that way, when someone searches for Swat, they get the good old, classic Swat. I’ve been out of the loop a while as well and I’m not sure if there’s a H2 Swat game mode using the H2 BR, but if there is, that could be mixed in with the regular Swat playlist.
I dislike Swatnums as well. Part of it is me being picky, but I am more accurate with “long barreled” (in this case, DMR and BR) weapons than the magnum. It also looks funny when the opening scene they hold up these wimpy looking guns, when you are used to something a lot bigger.
I like swatnums a lot… i feel like they’re harder to use at long range, so it frees movement up a lot. In my humble opinion its nice, skillful change of pace from br and dmr starts.
I like all of them… it breaks up the monotony of playing with only two weapons…
But on another note, I HATE the matchmaking system in SWAT… two times now in the past week myself (at the time an Onyx 1500), a D4, a D1 and an unranked (for one of the games) were matched against a team of 4 champions. The other match was a bit better, with 2 onyx, a diamond 6 and an unranked, but still against 4 freaking champions (but that one was against the #1, #4, #8, and #35).
I do not like the swatnum the swat or the swat dmr are better
i’m probably in the minority hear but I like Swatnums just as nuch as I like regular BR Swat… Its the DMR I hate. I enjoy it in warzone and other slayer match types, i just hate DMR swat for some reaon.
SWATnums is literally the only decent variant of SWAT. It requires the most shooting skill of any of the precision weapons, you can’t sweep a burst for the head shot, and the shorter red reticle range means that you can’t cross map people with ease. I assume the fact that it actually requires some effort is the reason SWAT kids hate it.

You’re not more accurate. Those weapons are objectively easier to use. More aim assist, more bullet magnetism, longer reticle range. And the BR burst makes head shots much more generous.
Swatnums is the least likely game i’ll get. Dmr’s is the most, followed closely by BR’s.
I really like SWATnums. It is the best way to practice aiming with a precision weapon and satisfying when you hit. Anyone who doesn’t like it needs to practice more, plain and simple. And if you’re grinding and trying to improve, this mode and FFA are hands down the best ways to do it.
