Swat control scheme for Halo 5/Xbox one. This idea includes duel wielding:
Everyone starts with 1 Magnum. Unlimited Ammo. No Armour abilities. Sprint unlimited. You are able to carry up to 2 Magnums/Boltshots/Energy Swords. Boltshots and Energy swords are dropped by random ordnance.
Energy swords - as there is unlimited ammo they have a failsafe, they can be dropped for other weapons but if a Spartan is killed while holding it they are destroyed.
Single Wield controls
X - Sprint
Y - Switches weapon. Hold to swap weapons
A - Jump
B - Melee
RT - Fire weapon/Sword Lunge
LT - Brings up your second weapon for dual wielding
RB - Reload/Sword Melee vertical. (Parrys horizontal sword attack)
LB - Sword melee horizontal. (Parrys vertical sword attack)
Duel wield controls
Right analog - Look. Click to crouch.
Left analog - Move. Click to Sprint.
X - Melee Left weapon/Sword lunge left sword. (Parrys sword vertical attack).
Y - Switches back to right weapon single wield.
A - Jump
B - Melee Right weapon/Sword lunge right sword. (Parrys sword horizontal attack).
RT - Fire Right weapon/Right Sword Melee vertical. (Parrys horizontal sword attack).
LT - Fire Left weapon/Left Sword Melee vertical. (Parrys horizontal sword attack).
RB - Reload Right weapon/Sword melee horizontal. (Parrys vertical sword attack).
LB - Reload left weapon/Sword melee horizontal. (Parrys vertical sword attack).
D - Pad Up - Click for frustration.
D - Pad Down - Hold for stress relieve.
D - Pad Right - Click to use Right weapon single wield. Hold to swap right weapon
D - Pad Left - Click to use Left weapon single wield. Hold to swap Left weapon
Reloading and switching weapons while duel wielding is slower than single wield. Reticules combine but Magnum is blue while the Boltshot is orange (not a Portal reference), Energy Swords are blue. When highlighting an enemy Magnum reticule is red, Boltshot is maroon and Energy sword is red. Highlighting team mates all reticules are green. Or any another colours that isn’t absorbed by map landscape.
If you want to add Primary weapons:
All weapons except Magnum are random ordnance. No Battle Rifle. Spartans can carry up to three weapons, two primary weapons or one primary weapon and two secondary weapons or three secondary.
Duel Wield controls (while holding three secondary weapons)
D - Pad Up - Click to switch Right weapon with third secondary weapon
D - Pad Down - Click to switch Left weapon with third secondary weapon
