You’ve probably already noticed this. And you probably won’t agree with me here either but hey I don’t know you might share the same brain as me. But when I saw that the Battle Rifle was put into the gamemode SWAT I… I couldn’t find any words on how much it ruins the gamemode. I mean 80% of all the people in SWAT uses the Battle Rifle at the moment. Why? because that thing is way superior to the DMR wich was SWAT’s baby in Halo Reach. The way that the Battle Rifle is way more superior is that it’s basically a DMR but instead of single shot it’s a freaking BEAM that you can drag across the map after you’ve fired and pick up multiple kills at once.
I’m not saying it’s anything wrong with the gun or anything nor am I hating on it. I just think that the Battle Rifle is severely <—(Dunno if I spelled it right) missplaced and needs to be dealt with immediately.
So please 343 don’t go and ruin what was once a beautiful and fun gamemode by putting in UNSC Beam Rifle.
actually I rock the DMR in Swat all the time because it’s a simple pop to the head and easier to adjust the recoil. BR’s have never been an issue to me. Just get them first.
the battle rifle has been the “baby” of swat since halo 2 and in swat at least the br has a chance against the DMR, In normal game modes it does not. If anything I believe they should take the DMR out of swat and make it BR’s and Carbine rifles like halo 2.
The BR was Halo 2’s SWAT baby and same with Halo 3, so I fail to see your point. It’s a great weapon for SWAT and I hate swat in Reach because I hated the DMR.

DMR is still the way to go on maps with long sight lines, such as Complex.
At the moment, the DMR outperforms the BR in just about every other gametype, so I think not only is it natural that the BR excels in SWAT (since headshots are its bread and butter), but it’s fair.

The Battle Rifle is fine fror SWAT, it has been part of SWAT since Halo 2 (The BR wasnt in Reach). Its more like the DMR needs to go as that was only added into Reach…
