I know the Swat playlist is coming but what else is coming in the title update? I’ve heard rumors of a possible DMR nerf, such as a 10% slower rate of fire… Does anyone know if this is true? I love the DMR but it is just a tad OP. I beat BR users at all ranges. Even point blank. BR should win up close.
If you have any proof as to the DMR ROF decrease can you please post it?

Extremely doubtful. Even a 10% nerf of the fire rate would make the BR the new “best” weapon.

Nerfing the DMR would cause more problems than it would fix. Do you honestly support another Halo with the BR being king?

If they nerf the DMR it will be a big mistake and cause huge nerdrage on the forums. It’s fine the way it’s currently. IMO the carbine needs a small buff.
I’m probably alone here, but I think the DMR should be a 5sk and have a little less bloom, while the BR gets buffed to 4sk, and the AR to 12 SK…
Carbine does need a slight buff! I wanna see more people using carbine and Light Rifle. Gameplay gets boring when everyone chooses DMR.
A 4sk BR would be way to overpowered. But its obvious that the DMR is the best gun to use. Even at close range if u land every shot.on a BR user u will win because its kill time is too fast. Call me crazy but I would like to see a 5-10% slower fire rate of DMR, and a Carbine buff.
maybe not a 4sk with a BR but at least a 13 bullet to the head with BR would make it decent to play with against DMR’s… I switch off between BR and DMR but always go back to DMR… BR is kind of inconsistent in this game
a buff to the carbine will be nice
And YES, please buff up the Carbine… like wth… it should be the best weapon for up close - mid range battles.
Why the -Yoink- are Human weapons always the ones prioritized? I’d love a Halo where the carbine is the godfather.

It is a 13 shot kill…
The DMR does not need to be nerfed. It fills the role it is meant to. The DMR is long range, BR is medium range, and the AR is close range. That’s the roles they fill. Only skilled players can use them outside of that effective combat range. Nerfing the DMR because people with some actual skill can use it up close would be a giant slap in the face to said skilled players. People on here complain that this game is becoming “too casual” and then turn around a belly-ache when they get wrecked by someone who is better then them.
