Why is there no swat?
It is there but is nobody playing it? this is so frustrating buying a xbox one console for Halo 5 and not being able to play Swat…
Is anyone having this issue or just there isn’t anyone playing???

Problem with H5 SWAT is the garbage map design and spawn mechanics. 343 tried to patch it in the first update and it failed miserably. They haven’t tried again and TBH I don’t think they’re competent to fix it. To make it worse there are no load-outs. You get BR or Magnum but the game is glitched so you get Magnums at a much higher rate than BRs. The maps are way too small to allow DMRs.
So yeah, 343 ruined SWAT in H5.

My problem is it sits there in definatly searching for spartans. When we first bought these two consoles a month ago we had matchmaking all day and night! Now its searching for spartans all day.
We can play all other games but Swat just searches for spartans and we can never get a game weather its with Magnums i don’t care just want to play Swat and do not feel like sitting all day waiting for a match to start…
I’ve been playing it just fine. I stopped because I’m sick of swatnums. I search for swat because I want to play swat, not -Yoink- swatnums.

Could be you. I’ve never had a problem finding SWAT games. Played last night for a good hour and matches loaded quickly.

Well this is crazy i am not sure why we can play all the other offerings but just not swat.
We always make sure our NAT is open on both consoles and have not had a problem when we first had our xbox 1.
Honestly we have not been able to have a Swat game in a couple of weeks just keeps searching for spartans, is there some other setting to try???
I got sick of swat after preseason. It’s kind of fun, but pretty one-dimensional compared to slayer.
The maps are so small and condensed that swat is kinda eh. A perfect map on swat for me was H3 high ground. Good mix of close action and long range action. What happened to being able to pick someone off at long range where you had to scope in? Or the quiet moments in swat where you don’t see someone for 30 seconds or so and then mayhem ensues? It’s just kinda eh now.
I enjoy SWAT but hate what 343i did to it.
It’s the least forgiving of all game types. Noobs go in thinking it will be easy and they get wrecked. Your reflexes have to be tight and map awareness is key. You don’t get many second chances with a shot in SWAT.

Pff…Swatnums seems to never show up with me or very rare,courious cuz i like swatnums,ill try a couple of times if it stays like this im done with this list,i dont know what the problem is on splitting this list to SWAT/Swatnums everyone could be happy!
Swat is a good game mode but long loading times.
I have never had any issues mate, you should probably check your connection or widen the search parameters before pressing search
