It is pretty stupid. There should be a separate FFA playlist with KOTH, Oddball, and Slayer mixed together.

I’m pretty sure we will see doubles within a few weeks. Its one of the rotational happy hoppers like Snipers, and FFA throwback.
Doubles will be rotated in for a week and rotated out a week later just like team snipers. Then 2 months down the road we will see doubles rotated in for another week.
Snipers was put onto the MM systems to see how popular it was, just like SWAT.
IMO, they did SWAT ok… not huge amount of maps but it was still ok. The population stayed high so it is staying there for now.
Then they added Snipers. All the maps bar Solace were huge. Way too open for a 4v4 playlist IMO. Flinch/no descoping when shot sucks and the fact that they added radar.
This meant Snipes was not popular enough to stay in the game.
Whether they based that decision on a goal population or if it did as good/better than SWAT, I don’t know.
But yeah, the reason why they’re replacing it with Throwback is because it didn’t do well amongst the playerbase. Don’t worry though, I’m pretty certain Throwback will do shocking too so that will get replaced by something else soon.
they want Infinity Slayer to remain populated so they can say HA told you guys this Playlist IS DA BEST… so they will add a popular playlist but take one out so IS can remain populated… why do you guys think they havent added a normal TS playlist?
Is it not common sense that FFA Slayer and Team Doubles will stay populated?

All of this, and my First Strike Commendation since I usually get the most First Strikes. I would always be in the top medals for that in Reach. (Not sure why it was considered a top medal, though.)
It doesn’t really affect me as I’ve never cared much for snipers. I’m pretty excited to be honest to play some FFA games other than Regicide! However I could go for an all-around FFA playlits with slayer, regicide, koth, oddball, etc… all the game types!
They should just go ahead and mix Regicide with FFA Throwback, and then add FFA Slayer to it too. But I guess they first want to see how many people will play Throwback.
