My friend have been banned from Halo Waypoint. He can’t contact 343i or Halo since there are no ways to contact them. He got this message
“User has been suspended until 29/10/2552 5:00 PM PST due to Posted in the wrong forum section”
He wants me to deliver this message to you guys so you can probably get back to him.
His message:
“I dont know where to post this, Halo/343i have no Places I can contact them on. I have been banned from Halo Waypoint because of I posted a post in the wrong forum section. The most insane thing is that I have been banned to 2552!!! I can’t contact 343i, all of their contacting goes through Halo Waypoint Forums :(”
He also wants me to deliver this message to you guys:
“Please get a way to contact you. I have comment this on every post on facebook, but you dont reply or read it. On twitter you cant send a dm without you guys following me. I have also tried to send you a tweet, but I got no answer. All your support goes through Halo waypoint forums, where I have been banned to 2552!”

I just have to say that this ban makes no sense. If he posted in wrong section, you could told him and learn him that. There are no reason to ban people for posting in wrong section!!! Specially not to 2552!

Well looking as your frirnds post history. It seems your friend was banned for creating an alt account. That is against the rules. It clearly says that an alt was used on all his pre-existing posts he has on that account.

And well posts might of been deleted since he got banned. So old evidence might not be there assuming the ban was given for posting in the wrong section.

Regardless seeing as its been 2 years since he got banned the moderators might be able to help. But I cant confirm personally.

While we don’t publically discuss other users moderation, the reason he was banned isn’t for posting in the wrong section. During the process of changing forum software back just before the Master Chief Collection can out, all ban messages were updated and that became a default. Your friend is welcome to send a message to the moderation team adn we can explain in more detail. Feel free to pass on my name as a contact
