Just a question I was think of last night and was curious if anyone knows, and if you read the title you will know that there were survivors which left the planet. However I am wanting to know if there were any survivors on the planet which did not escape and survive the Glassing of Reach?

No he doesn’t, this was confirmed by Bungie after the launch of the game

tbh if 6 survived it would have defeated the purpose of the campaign to humanize Spartans and show that while they were badass not all of them were as lucky as chief and many died. The campaign is sad and somber and to have 6 survive would defeat the whole tone of the campaign and marty’s masterful soundtracks.
The only person to survive from Noble Team is Jun because he was escorting Halsey when she evacuated. All the other members of Noble Team were killed. Cater sacrificed himself to help Noble 6 and Emile reach the Pillar of Autumn. Kat is sniped through the head with a needle rifle. Jorge had to manually detonate the slip-space bomb to destroy the Covenant Corvette. Emile died taking out an Elite that stabbed him through the back/chest. And Noble 6 died taking out as many Covenant forces he can before he is ultimately overran and stabbed multiple times. As far as I know, anyone else left on Reach that weren’t able to evacuate before the glassing of the planet were killed in said glassing.
