So apparently, the Survivor armor mod can sometimes make destroyed vehicles drivable, and therefore invincible. I’ve seen this happen in test custom games, but it just happened to me in matchmaking. I was playing BTS when I was destroyed by Spartan Laser. The host migrated right as my Ghost was destroyed–I don’t know if that had anything to do with it–and when the game came back, the Ghost was destroyed, but still usable.
man 343 really knocked this update outta the park didnt they?
i hope they fix that. it would be infuriating to play against. they should really stop putting out stuff that has so many issues. is it really so hard to test this stuff out prior to release?

Naw I actually love the perk but I didn’t like the fact it makes vehicles invincible lol

I don’t believe this was due to the Survivor armor mod. I did watch it, and I found it to be quite entertaining, if I may say so myself. However, I think it is due to the Host Migration. There have been instances in the past of Host Migration screwing things up with vehicles, such as open piloted Banshees, and open walking Mantises (Mantis plural, please?), and the infamous 0/1/2-wheel Mongoose on multiple occasions due to the same problem.
In conclusion, the Host Migration in this one is the cause of the glitch. The Ghost was destroyed, yes, and the Survivor armor mod kicked in, yes. The Survivor saved you from being killed, which allowed you to remain next to the Ghost. The Host Migration caused an improper and incomplete destruction of the Ghost, allowing it to retain it’s normal piloted abilities, while seeming to be destroyed visually.

There’s also the issue where we can’t use any of the new content (new armors, weapon skins, armor skins, armor mods) in Spartan Ops. Man, just when you think 343i is doing something right, they screw it all up.
