Maybe as part of the perk, you survive even when you hit the ground. But in any case, I guess it’s time to go to a custom game and find out!

Whoa! I was just about to head into the War Games to try and find this out myself.
My guess is that you will die from the fall, if high enough.
With the introduction of ODST armor into Halo 4 and my love for them, don’t you guys think it would be cool if 343i released another armor mod called something like “Helljumper”? This mod would either be a Support Upgrade or Tactical Package, and would decrease (or totally eliminate) fall damage.
It equals suicide from the fall damage which can be exquisitely awesome.

Just remember that if you can fall from the fall damage upon being ejected from your vehicle, Thruster Pack and Jet Pack may be good selections to consider as they can help prevent your death from a fall.
I’m thankful that I never leave home without my Jetpack, any avid Banshee user should always have his or her backup back in case of emergency.

I saw 2 people die from fall damage in longbow…just know its not a smart idea to thruster or jetpack while ejecting from a vehicle lol
