Survivor Armor Mod Balancing idea

So, it’s official that the Survivor armor mod is going to be in the new Champions Bundle. I know that people see it as very overpowered and unfair. Now I think that the Survivor armor mod could have a downside to it. The “ejection process” would leave Spartan with half his shields or more than half his shields down. This would make sure that the Spartan using the Survivor to get out of -vehicle- is not perfectly safe.

It’s very possible that’s exactly what it’s going to do.

It’d probably be smarter to wait until we have more information or the perk is released (whichever comes first) before we start balancing it.

What does it actually do? Argh we already have enough perks ffs.

Actually, the Resistor Mod is in the Champion’s Bundle. Luckily, the extremely over-powered armor mod will eventually be released to everyone else, so Halo is not Pay2Win yet.

But a Downside to Survivor would be your at the enemies base, Your warthogs about to explode, So yuo want to get out of there, But NO, Survivor will kick you outta dat vehicle and you will be shot to pieces by pretty much everything at the enemy’s base.

How could it be unfair or overpowered?

To me it sounds like if you take too much damage it makes you get out automatically before you go boom. I don’t think it “ejects” you like some kind of booster seat in a james bond film.

Also, if you hit a vehicle with a spartan laser or rocket, it will still explode before the armor mod can “eject” you.

The only time it will come in handy is if you are taking sustained fire and you have the time to get out before you die. This could also pose a serious problem with survivability.

Can you imagine being ejected from a banshee when you take too many hits and falling to your death off a cliff? Of attempting to run from a mantis on a ghost only to have it stop you and you wind up being killed because of it? Having a flag in the hog on the way home and you take too many shots causing you to stop and leave the vehicle, costing you the score? I can’t count the times I’ve barely escaped a firefight on a flaming heap of a vehicle…

Dude im stoked for that. Its an ejection seat. I know ima be rockin that -Yoink- on me Vehicle Class. (Its all related to EMPing the enemy vehicles and driving and being an all around vehicle support.

Either Way still hate the Perk. They could of simply made Stickies a power weapon but instead they made Vehicle gameplay suffer in its stead.

Who says this is their final answer to the problems currently faced in Vehicle combat? Calm down, and let’s wait and see what 343i has in store for us.
