This just made my day. And my day just started 5 minutes ago.

I’m surprised by the results so far. Btw coconut, scroll up. 8=>~

What? 2 people on Boxer? What for? That layout became obsolete when melee went to right bumper in Reach.

Melee on boxer has always been left trigger, and that is the best button for it to be at since the most commonly used things are firing your weapon and your melee. Well, and maybe jumping or sprint now. So I could see a layout like bumper jumper that some people use if they feel like they hit jump more than melee.

Halo 4 has screwed up Boxer though. Boxer makes you push B to sprint all the time, so your thumb has to move back and forth between B and the right stick. Its annoying because when you’re coming out of sprint you need to be aiming, but you can’t because your thumb is on the B button. So I don’t hit B to stop sprinting, I just move backwards/ push the left stick down to stop sprinting, which takes slightly longer than if you could just hit a button to stop sprinting, but if you hit the B button boxer has that set to it takes longer to aim. So the best thing to do on boxer is to push the left stick down to stop sprinting, which of course messes up your movement by almost moving you backwards a little, but at least you’re aimed on a target that way.

I use fish stick since I play so many shooters (don’t worry, halo is still the best). Having similar controls to other shooters I play is really helpful to me

Have always used recon, probably always will.

I use Fishstick. As a PC gamer, we always have that “left click is shoot, right is scope”.

Just seems more natural to me.

> Have always used recon, probably always will.

Recon didn’t even exist in Halo CE or Halo 2. Were you a late joiner to Halo? Not saying any of this in a bad way just curious, although I do think the late joiners missed out big time lol.

> Have always used recon, probably always will.

Since thats only been in Reach and Halo 4 you must be new comer to the Halo series. WELCOME! Also, play Halo CE - 3

I prefer bumper jumper idk why just the one that seemed most natural for my play type.

I’ve never felt the need to change from the default scheme in any video game ever. I feel safest using the scheme that the game was designed around.

No votes for southpaw? I should give it a pity vote lol. Btw the goal is 100 votes so please try to keep this post alive. Thnx.

i use default on pretty much every game i play. i dont find it to be all that hard to jump from one game to the next using default controls it takes maybe 5 minutes to adjust and youre right back in it. try playing CS:S and going back to halo. the jump from mouse & keyboard to controller is brutal, at least for me.

Seriously?! Still no votes for southpaw XD

Holy -Yoink-, I didn’t think you guys would take it literally.

No, the name “Recon” is new, but the basic button loadout it contains has been in Halo since the originals.

You are more than welcome to look through my -Yoinking!- stats on Bungie as well.

Just when I think I can give people the benefit of the doubt on this forum they dissapoint me.

I’m gonna bump this.
