Do you think that with the extended Development period, that 343 would be able add additional weapons to the sandbox? Preferably in my opinion, the return of some classic weapons like the Spike Rifle, the Mauler, the Brute Shot, and what everyone really wants, the M90 Shotgun and M6G Magnum. I also wouldn’t be opposed to the Marine variant of the Assault Rifle, while I don’t have a problem with the Robust design of the MA37 and MA40, I’ve always had preference to the sleeker look of the MA5B, MA5C and MA5D
The game is going to be monetized so im fairly certain they willl add loads of weapons
The reason the game was delayed was because 343 hadn’t finished what they originally intended to release. I doubt we will be getting additional weapons beyond their original plan. Maybe some DLC will come later, or just some patch or free download will include other weapons. But the initial launch will likely not have more weapons than was originally planned.
Considering how long they’re wanting Infinite to last I think it’s almost guaranteed we’ll see new/old weapons post launch.

Well, I would assume at the very least the Spiker and Brute Shot were going to be in the base game given how iconic such weapons are to the franchise, but more importantly, the brutes themselves. Not including them would be a massive missed opportunity. As for the MA5B, I honestly think that if 343i is going to have weapon skins in the game, then they should go further than just simple recolors, and supply classic skins for some of the weapons.
