I’m quite happy to see the Halo Waypoint app in the Marketplace and I would like to note a few points:
- Video resolution seems to be capped at a low level and I’m sure it is not due to connection issues, I can not find a way to force 1080p.
- The app has some problems while on snap app mode, for example videos are only shown on the upper one third of the screen, which wouldn’t be a problem if there wasn’t a large bar with text under it that doesn’t go away. I would like to see the video in the center of the screen while on snap app mode. The guide is not shown in this mode.
- The app crashes while buffering Twitch gameplay.
And I would like to see “something” else on the Play Halo menu. Now that there is some time available after making MCC, and after fixing the matchmaking issues, how about some sugar for PC, like a PC version of Halo: Wars or a re-release of Halo 2 with fixed drivers for Windows 8.1?
