So the last thing i made was closed off due to it not dealing with support. I thought it was in general so my bad. So how about supporting the competitive community? I think you all (343) understand just how devastated the competitive community is right now. You have pros and ams quitting and wanting to quit left and right. 90% of us are barely playing the game right now because all we can play is 8s in custom games and thats hard enough to do because most of us dont even want to play the game right now. We have no drive to and there is nothing for us to do by ourselves or even with few friends that gives us good practice. Our HCS playlist has been turned into an oddball only, br and gunfighter, also non hcs map testing playlist. Especially when an event is about to be announced and we dont even know what settings we’ll be playing anymore. The majority of us asked for pistol starts and 0 autos for almost 2 years and thats how long it took us to get. Now when we have the 2 best h5 events and the 3 most enjoyable to play and watch, you guys take it away from us when we didnt ask you to. We’ve asked for new maps and gametypes for 2 years. We didn’t get that, We finally just got oddball but then you guys made a huge tuning update that nobody wanted (not even the casual/social community). They mostly hate the update as much as us, also you guys buffing the already strongest AR in Halo history wasnt good either, and 2 years into the game? These are changes to be tested in the beginning, not 2 years later. I’m getting off track, the point is we the competitive community are slumping back into those h4 times with everything you guys are doing right now. We need our HCS playlist back asap with everything the way it was, and the only thing added for testing should be Oddball Empire, Eden, Plaza, Truth, Regret, and rig. As well as any Forgemade map for HCS that looks like it could work well. You guys know and should know maps like Overgrowth, Riptide, Tyrant, and Mercy are not maps that will work nor have we ever liked them. None of us even understand how you guys can think theyre even good maps that are made well. Also whoever thought rockets on Regret was a good or even testable idea and whoever allowed that to happen, need a serious talk or something. You guys really arent leaving us options here nor making us want to play your game or actually think you can make it so we’ll want to continue playing, because time and time again you try to force us into something we dont want and take way longer than you should to fix it or anything for that matter. It’s also the worst possible time for this to be happening when a rival developer releases a new game, especially when its a game that is actually catering to their fanbase and exactly what people wanted (besides the bad map design on the maps). So I and every comp player we have is asking for support. Please get the HCS playlist back to the way it was with magnum starts and the original HCS gametypes and have oddball Plaza, Eden, Empire, Truth, Regret, and Rig in it for testing. Eden, Empire, and Plaza King of the HIll would be great as well. Also any Symmetrical Forge maps that could work in HCS and dont have tons of power weapons/power ups, should be tweeted out to be tested or something. Its also awful, you guys DM the pros and ask them for help, yet never listen to them or act on what you heard. I have provided things that most of us want right there and how to fix things and make it better. Make HCS back to where it was a month ago with the tests i put in there ASAP. That is the best way to help the comp community rn. Take out any gametype or modify it if those tests are not liked ASAP. So I and the rest of the Competitive Community are looking for this kind of support. If you need to see how bad it is for us, please look at Twitter and look at your pros have said this week and the ams. Frosty even said to let the pros handle the settings and test what they want. So basically doing what they ask. I think thatd be a great way to get the ball rolling, especially because thats how Puckett got to MLG in H1. He told them the settings the players played on and wanted, they followed. Its a great idea, just please listen to us and act off of what we say. Please. We are begging. We love this game and have for years and dont want to leave it or want it to die or go anywhere near the end of reach or H4 ever again.
