Support Tickets, Are They a Thing?

Some game developers have them, some don’t, so I’m wondering if 343i has any way to submit a support ticket for glitchy, broken, or otherwise defective content. Been trying to get someone to help me with Waypoint, since it’s not recognizing that I’ve played 1000 games for the Raider DSTT Helmet. These forums don’t seem to be the best way to get help with troubleshooting, so is there a way to get into contact with someone at 343i’s tech support? I’m at the precarious point of not wanting to create multiple threads about the same issue but also wanting to get some actual help with the problem itself.

I’m not sure the app that runs the code is still operational, but have you tried inputting the code? It seems you are right about hitting your 1000 games, but have you tried inputting the code into the Waypoint app (if it still exists)?

I put in the code several times now. Cleared my cache, deleted and redownloaded the app, deleted and redownloaded the Halo 4 DLC, and re-entered the code after each of those steps. The problem persists, and 343i has proven extremely slow to give any sort of response.

When I started playing Halo 4 again, I was afraid too much time might have passed. That might be the case, or it might not be. That’s why I’d like to know if I should keep trying or just give up.

What does the Waypoint app say when you enter the code? If I remember correctly it used to give feedback like “error- code doesn’t exist” or “error- must play campaign on legendary” (for the Raider armor). But what feedback is it giving you after entering the code?

But to answer your original question: I don’t know of a way to submit tickets to 343.

The code says “Error - Must Complete 1000 matchmaking games” or something like that. It isn’t registering that I’ve played the required number of games for whatever reason.
Edit - I’m not sure if there’s another way to do it, but I’ve been inputting the codes into Waypoint on the 360. If there’s another way to do it, I haven’t heard of it.

You were just over the 1000 matchmaking match threshold last I checked. I remember it being at 1003 matches played (I can’t check now). It doesn’t count JIP games so you might just need to get more matches in.

I’m still at 1003. I thought the Waypoint stats didn’t count JIP or DNF. The number there is supposed to be the one to judge your progress. If that one’s incorrect, then this is going to turn out like Seriously… from Gears of War. Your total doesn’t mean squat, because you have no idea which ones actually count.

Okay, so, the counter is in fact broken. I played a single game yesterday, JIP. The Halo app now shows 1004 games instead of 1003. So yes, both the site and the Waypoint app itself count matches they usually didn’t count. Wonderful.

Edit - Going to try inputting the code at 1050 and 1100 games, to see in case 5% or 10% of my games were JIP or DNF. Basically, going to try in 50-game increments.
