When Xbox announced the new gamertag system, they warned that some old games that don’t support the system will just get the 4 number suffix added onto your gamertag. However, Halo Infinite is a brand new game and there is no reason it shouldn’t support this functionality. I know a lot of Halo vets probably have OG gamertags that don’t have this issue, but for people who have changed their gamer tag or are new to Xbox, please support the new gamertag system instead of just adding the four numbers to the end of the gamertag. Otherwise, great game even though buying credits isn’t working.
I for one am all for keeping it the old way, I don’t want any imposters in my place.
