Hey fellow players! If you believe the upcoming CSR should be visible in game, and not only on waypoint, then i thought id let everyone know that there’s one BIG thread in the matchmaking section that you should take a look at.

It’s very well written and organized! It has well over 350 thanks/likes. Unfortunately It’s been kind of hidden ever since about 2-3 weeks ago when it was moved from the h4 section (where mainly everyone sits) to the matchmaking section where less people populate that area.
I’d just like to put it out there for people who’d like to know and support something like this, especially now considering everyone’s riled up over the recent CSR news.

Why would I support a glorified BPR? Especially when it probably won’t be accurate in the first place, what with the join in progress throwing your win/loss thanks to jumping into losing games and imbalanced sandbox and network issues mess with your k/d.
I don’t see how CSR will be anything short of a mess unless there’s alot of fixes before it’s implemented.
I’d personally just rather have a working trueskill system in place, that thing is in dire need of improvements…

Just letting people know that there’s one big thread on this topic. By having supporters come to that thread, it can A) help contribute to the cause of being heard and B) help organize this CSR topic, and have its supporters/followers be in one big thread, rather than multiple little ones kind of like what where seeing at the moment.
Anyways i respect your opinion and agree that a working true skill system should be in place, however I also firmly believe that a visible in game ranks should return for those who want it. (separated by ranked and social playlists)

Same here actually, though I thought the 2 (in game rank & social+ranked playlists) pretty much went together. Do you mind explaining to me how you think a ranked and social playlist might work without any visible in game rank?
Unless you mean that social playlists don’t use true skill, and ranked playlists do.

I respect the fact that you can remain calm and level headed even with someone who disagrees with you, that’s a quality that sadly much of this forum lacks.
I would support the creation of a ranking system IF it were integrated into the matchmaking system and not just be an overglorified BPR. Something a little more substantial than a number and/or symbol. Maybe certain benefits or rewards that could be gained or even lost depending on your rating?

sorry, i should clarify.
i want in game ranks but ONLY in ranked lists. on social the ranks disappear.
trueskill can stay as is for social.
that would be perfect.

I totally agree, thanks for clearing that up. the thread that i linked is about what you just mentioned! I didn’t mention it earlier though, which i should of done :S Sorry about that
