When people said that the Halo community was getting toxic, I couldn’t believe it! But it’s really starting to hit home now. What happened to all the positivity, nostalgia, camaraderie? Everytime I watch anything Halo 5 related, I see a -Yoink!- ton (around 80%) of complaints and general cynicism towards 343. I understand that they’ve made a few blunders (some of them due to -Yoink!-) here and there, but they’re doing the best they can! They’re the ones working on more of our favourite franchise, and instead of filling the comments section with insults, show them some support. They LOVE Halo, as do we.
Here, write one thing you loved about 343’s work. Personally, I really liked the implementation of different tiers of vehicles in H5’s Campaign (Corps, UNSC, Ultra, Sword, Remnant).
343 have proven to me that they listen to the community and take action. Sometimes it’s not what some want, but you can’t please everyone all the time.
the problem is that their blunders they have made, are not small ones. they are big problems, MCC is the perfect example. and i understand that they were pushed hard to get that out, but the game still isnt fixed. they said they were going to release an update in the spring, but why did it take 3 years for them to focus on fixing it? to me that is a huge blunder. to let a game sit for 3 years before trying to fix it. I will gladly wait and see, and i hope that they do fix it. but if they dont, i dont know how much trust the community will have for 343 after the spring update
I think 343 Industries is doing a fine job so far, I have a few complaints about Halo 5 (as so many others do), but out of respect for the topic I will refrain from expressing such. Don’t get me wrong, I still very much enjoyed the game overall, as well as Halo 4. One thing I’ve always kind of thought is that while a lot of people are complaining about H5 now, as they did with H4; they’ll probably look back eventually and find it to be a good game, like they are seeing H4 right now.

As some have said, Halo ages like a fine wine. The H4 ending cutscene and Didact’s speech is now my favourite of all time

I’ve had next to no problems with MCC. I think that people exaggerate it a little when they cite it as a problem, even though they themselves may not have experienced them, but rather, read about it online and decided it must be true.
Trying their best means they get a free pass? We love Halo as well and that’s why we give them criticism. If we didn’t care about Halo, we wouldn’t say a word to them. Kind of hard to find something that I love, but I did really like that they went in a somewhat different direction from H4 with multiplayer.
Halo 5’s weapon balance is extraordinarily good (potentially barring some of the higher tiered variants in Warzone). By employing the right tactics, I can get through almost any part of the campaign with almost any of the weapons available.

Well, people do say that it doesn’t matter if you succeed or not, only that you gave it your all. Most of the ‘criticism’ is just insulting 343 and dissing the current state of Halo.
Sorry stckrboy, I haven’t figured out how to quote multiple times in one post, apart from re-typing everything, which is a pain.
“Criticism may not be agreeable, but it is necessary. It fulfils the same function as pain in the human body. It calls to an unhealthy state of things.” - Sir Winston Churchill.
343i are ‘supported’ by Microsoft; I doubt mine will count for much in comparison.
If I had to pick a positive, it’d be their seemingly renewed dedication to community feedback, but of course, actions speak louder than words, so it’s very much ‘wait and see’ as far as I’m concerned.

I think we all support 343 in our separate ways, after all, we all continue to buy the next Halo instalment. There may be some disagreements, but that’s life, there is always disagreement and conflict, it’s unavoidable.

And there’s not much wrong with that. We all have to make a living!
The thing I have to choose is that I really love the decision of adding a ton of skulls to Halo 2A which has increased the freedom you have in the Campaign by a lot. Here are few f my favorite skulls as it allows the Campaign to be a lot more open instead of linear and I have actually spend few days of playtime just having fun with these skulls.
Feather - Bandama - Boom - Grunt Funeral - Pinata - Sputnik - ScarabI would really love to see all the Halo 2A skulls return in Halo 6 and maybe even see a custom Campaign feature which would allow us to change some gamerules for our own taste.
